It seems a bit unfair to cut Bardo out of the equation, he's been so good this season; he doesn't deserve to be benchwarming.

I do agree with you jersey i just think we need a natural LB and let Bardo & the new lad fight for the position

Yes, we do really need to strengthen there. I just felt a bit sorry for him after his brilliant clearance yesterday!

AND 1000th POST!!!! I can now die a happy man :D

TBH the LB positon is Bardos whoever we sign he will have to take it from him

Thats if we do sign a LB

What about Hutton on loan with a price to buy agreed if we wish to take up the deal? I know we have had issues with loaness this season but if we just have Hutton on loan I dont see any issue with that unless we try for Welbeck on loan again.

Buy Ned for £6 million and Hutton on loan with a view to buy wouldnt be bad business in my opinion

Onuoho has pace which is invaluable for a centre back, but lacks a bit going forward in the right back position. I still think he would be a smashing permanent signing because we know his capabilities and his versatility. Hutton adds a lot to the team but the big questions are; 1 do we have the cash to get everyone we would like? Do they want to come? Reading one or two comments of Onuoho I thought he was thinking his future might lie elsewhere. Three wins on the belt might change his mind.

Just been reading the sunday sun and if Man City refuse to lower there 8m valuation for Nedum Onuoha we will go back for Alan Hutton.

Hutts IMO is the best full back we have had at the club in years with his ability to get up and down that line, earlier this season he was at one point probably the best right back in the league how he was playing.

Get him signed Brucie and bring in a proper left back aswell
must be onuhoa for me <bubbly>

I thought Hutton was very good when we had him. Redknapp has fallen out with him because of his "off field activities" apparently.

The word amongst the Spuds fans is that Hutton is the lowest form of pond life allegedly.

I'll let you know when I'm next in Jersey - prepare to meet thy maker.

Oh and I agree with the bonny gansey lad - BOTH!

Onuoha can play back or central, Bardinho seems to prefer the left and Hutton was KEY last season in my (notveryoften) humble opinion to our recovery - having had the dire ****e of our hoofball gang previously, he had the habit of playing the ball forward - which was nice of him I think.

Anything less than 8m for either would be a canny bit of biznez.
