Top seven or eight clubs have been up there most of the season so far - just swapping places. Blackpool and Blackburn are the only two that have fallen away for the moment, but could the second half of the season see a surprise package emerge? From what you've seen and looking below say the top 8, anyone got a gut feeling about who could put some results together and come with a late run on the rails to crash the playoff party? Maybe it'll depend a lot on the January activity and who's prepared to splash a bit of cash. I'll start it off by saying that Clough Junior is going to finally come of age. I see Derby as a real threat to the present top 6 - hopefully not the top 2 spots though. Hope I'm right and they start tomorrow night.
With you on Derby Sparks, another dark horse is Birmingham. Hasn't worked for them in the 1st half of the season but I think they may have it in them.
If we can ignore the Dragqueen for a moment...... ...........so everybody thinks the current top 8 have got it sewn up then?
If they can't keep Chris Wood I don't see Millwall sustaining their challenge. Watford are lurking on the rails and Forest have crept into the top 10 unnoticed. I still think there are about 12 clubs who will think they have a chance of play offs at least.
Not good enough Bluey!! Come on - nail your colours to the mast and pick someone. (BTW, have you checked your inbox lately?)
Okay to be specific watch out for Watford, until Peterboro they were the best side to visit us this season and we probably wouldn't have beaten them were it nor for the 2 red cards. Lots of money there and who knows what they will drag in from Italy. Sparks, yes, saw your pm from a week ago (thanks) and replied. Haven't had another one since and there is plenty of space in my box.
Bluey, my bad - my own bloody inbox was full. I've got rid of a load of stuff so try again pal. As far as your choice of Watford is concerned, they're currently 7th. Hardly adventurous forecasting Bluey, and anyway, I said someone below the top 8.
I'm numerically dyslexic. If I can't have Watford then if Peterboro carry on playing like last week they could be there soon. I like long odds.
After making them look like world beaters on Saturday, Peterborough are bound to go on a run like Reading did last season.
If those new guys back Warnock, he's the manager to do it - been there, done that and can do it again. Got my doubts about them stumping the readies to be honest. They seem to be a bit shady from what I've read.
