What are you on about?

I have sent a pm to Supermod brb!!!
While we're on it then what does everyone think to setting up and stickying a thread where people ask MOD's about things and make suggestions they're not sure are worth a PM? People could put their suggestions for a new banner, suggest questions for those higher up etc. Sound like a decent idea?
Pal, I remember those good ol days..... Would you like to draft something?
elland - anything to do with apps has to be referred to Mick, it's all his stuff. Not sure that I understand half of it tbh. I have an android and just have not606 set to favourites from google where everything functions in the same way as my computer. Not sure that I understand the true principle of why we need apps?

They run natively on the machine rather than relying on a website that may not work. Also, as far as I'm aware an app for a website such as this will use up less of your monthly data allowance, as it does not need to load all the website assets like images and other such stuff.
Welcome to the Leeds United not606 forum where the just and righteous can smugly look down on the rest of the poor unfortunates who were unlucky enough to be brought up supporting a different club.
This board contains an eclectic mix of opinionated and forthright like-minded supporters of the greatest football club that has ever been known, and we also accept that the occasional delusion from Millwall, Chelsea, Hull and Huddersfield is bound to happen and that we must converse with them.
I hope you enjoy the intellectual banter and profound spirit of being United - the original, the one and only - and will develop a rewarding and lasting relationship with the people in the not606 community.
There are few rules outside the social norms of being a willing and active member of society, and the moderators - Bucks_is_Leeds, Ellandback and Simon21-LUFC - will be happy to answer any questions if you send them a private message (PM).
Please feel free to disturb the cobwebs of the Millwall board at any time. Lord knows, they need some action over there.

There was once upon a time a thread called the Old Peacock for that purpose, but it died on its arse... agree it is something we ought to have.
Well, it mainly just said 'welcome to the Leeds United board - our moderation policy is that nothing will be removed unless it is pointedly provocative or is otherwise deemed to violate the site rules all members agreed to follow upon joining'. Then I think it had a link to the PM function with each of the mods as the recipient of the respective messages. I'm sure it could be done in a more friendly way though, maybe with new posters answering a few set questions about themselves in an intro sort of thing?

Does anyone have any idea's that they think we should implement to make this an even better board?
