with the transfer window not to far away, and we know that safc are desperate for strikers, d. sturridge.

his name has been mentioned many times, although everyone expects him to return to chelsea.

he didn't have the best of games yesterday, but should have had a goal or two, and was often is the right place,

a fantastic player in the making, (thankfully not against us), if the opportunity arose would you stil like to see him at sol?

did bolton have anyone else, who would be worth looking at.

i thought elmander before, but judging him on yesterday alone, i;m not so convinced..

i would love to see sturridge at sunderland but if he was to leave i think he would rather go back to bolton than sunderland. as for elmander i cant remember the last time he scored i remember his goal against wolves i think it was, it was world class, isnt he out of contract in the summer, i think he would be worth a shout if he is on a free, if he isnt i dont think he would be worth it.

Can't see Sturridge coming to us to be fair maybe on loan but, after this season do we want that? Elmander is not an out and out striker but, can hold the ball up for support to reach him and has a good touch for a big man bit like Quinny in that respect and does score the odd impressive goal.

i don't expect him to come to sol, but although he didn't score yesterday, you can see someone is gonna have a cracking player.

as for elmander, he is on a free in the summer...

Yes Sturridge looks to be a star of the not too distant future but I think Chelsea know that and would be crazy to let him leave.

Yes to Sturridge but doubt very much that we'd get him, would be a great partnership up front with Gyan if we could tempt him.

This........and he's a left sided player! Can't see Bolton selling him though as they only signed him this season. As for Sturridge, yes I would love to see him on our books, but actually signing him is going to be difficult.

Elmander? Think I would rather have Pav, but if he's on a free at the end of the season, why not?

Seen quite a lot of Sturridge this season and hes a quality quality player. I'd prefer him to Welbeck next season if we had the choice, I'd prefer Welbeck to Pav tho, and as for Elmander I'd prefer Brett Angel to come out of retirement! Could warm a bench tho if he's on a free to make up the numbers.

We need to build the squad so we can cope with any injuries we MAY get next season.

I would love to see at the SOL next season.

    Sturridge / Defoe
    Larsson(free)
    Vaughan(free)
    Nzogbia
    Doyle
    Bothroyd(free)
    Samba
    Warnock / John Arne Riise
