Instead of posting this in the race threads and causing more mischief I thought It would be best for the quiet period all the way through testing and through parts of the race season. This is when I try again with my "attempts" of understanding body language involving drivers, principles, engineers etc...

I'm starting to just consider this as a hobby more than anything, you don't have to take what I say seriously as it's just for fun. It's true I could be well off but I am just interested in it and want to use it to tackle the conversations involving F1, and maybe discover some interesting reactions to questions being asked of them by journalists. Some are deeper than these guys would like to admit and I think that's what the fun part of this is as not even the media would really bother "making accusations" while the FIA, Directors and Bernie are watching them closely.

Every part of the body can tell a story even if they didn't mean to or didn't know it was happening in the first place.



If you like you can post me a video of any driver, principle, engineer to look at and give you my opinion on what's going on in my (Amature) opinion, if you want to get involved and try it yourself please do <ok>

2:59 Before mentioning Alonso, Stefano is smiling on the progress of Ferrari.

3:00 Alonso's name is mentioned, almost acts like he was asleep the previous question as he suddenly raises his eyebrows for surprise or "awakening" that he must focus on this question, Stefano's face then drops to emotionless and blank which (can) mean hostility towards the person mentioned.

3:02 Stefano's eyebrows rise and with a slight nod that he understands what the question will be about, possibly also thinking about the rumoured "issue" Alonso had with Pat Fry with regards to his showing of the car in India.

3:04-07 Stefano smiles and continues to smile and increase even more the second Sebastian's name is mentioned, means he has a pretty close enjoyable relationship with him within F1 possibly and recent good memories.

3:08 After Adrian's name is mentioned and the generally "gist" of the comment that Alonso made, Stefano then licks his lip and then bites it which means anxiety or stress with both actions. Stefano wants to say something else or stronger but he dare not as it looks like on this scene. So it looks like Stefano wasn't very happy with Alonso saying that "comment" towards Sebastian or Ferrari in general with his facial expression.

3:15-32 During the answers he was giving support to Sebastian and he starts to move his whole body meaning he doesn't want to answer the question asked of him and would rather leave than give it. Also during this time regarding performance of Mark and Seb he looks to his left with his eyes a few times which means he is looking up facts in his head and not making it up, saying both drivers got the maximum out of their cars as well. He also shakes his head in a no motion which I believe means he is saying Alonso is incorrect (because, because, because....) and trying to get Lee to agree with him with his instinctive head shaking ("No he is incorrect, do you believe me?") but it could also be just a constant trait he has... At 3:24 it's almost like Stefano for a moment really expressed himself for a split second, with words like "For sure and Fact!" in a aggressive tone with regards to Seb also getting out the maximum of his car, and quickly gives a headbutt reaction and eyebrow raise to Lee making me believe how serious he meant it with ending that answer and actually backing Seb over Alonso right there... At 3:30 He does an even bigger headbutt nod in Lee's direction saying Seb "Only had one of the best cars" so (maybe) Stefano believed Ferrari were not that far off as Alonso liked to make out, or! the RB9 was not as dominant as Seb made it look in Stefano's opinion.

Apart from that Stefano just pretty much repeats what Seb himself would say, (the team) as a whole must still improve to beat RBR and he looked determined and sure of himself they would get there in the end.
