Seriously, come play-off time EIGHT teams have something to play for - and nearly every game is a cracker. The In the last 7 years, 7 different teams have won the title. Admittedly, the format is a bit out there...but christ, it creates the competition that we've all been craving and moaning about.

or we can go to 2 leagues of 12 and watch Rangers or Celtic win it every year.....

I've neither heard nor read many people asking for a reshuffle just to get Rangers promoted quicker. Maybe some people in the SFL and perhaps even the SPL would like to see it but i've honestly not read anyone anywhere in a position of authority within Scottish football suggest that it must happen. The fans made it clear what they wanted and whether they were right or not, most would cut off their noses to spite their faces where Rangers are concerned.

Have you heard anyone say they want Rangers fast tracked into SPL1 or 2?

So you are buying into a conspiracy theory? That's all it is. If, as the nutters tell us, everyone in Scottish football hates Rangers who exactly is trying to get you into the SPL? Neil Doncaster? Stewart RHegan? Peter Lawell? There's a paradox for you, all apparently enemies of Rangers but at the same time determined to get hold of the filthy lucre that Rangers would provide.

I don't buy it, but I may be wrong and a deal is being done in secret by persons unknown. We'll find out in due course but if Rangers are in the SPL (1 or 2)next season i'll eat ma bunnet, besides did the Yorkshire Pudding not say Rangers would NEVER play i the SPL as long as he was in charge?

Proposals for a two-tier Scottish Premier League of 10 teams each are to be put to clubs next Monday.

As part of the reconstruction, play-offs would be introduced, the season would start earlier and a winter break would be built in.

The leagues beneath the top two would be regionalised if the plans put forward by the SPL's Strategic Working Group are ratified.

It is anticipated any changes would be introduced the season after next.
 
Dev, FFS, I have said before, that you are, in my opinion, a decent ****, but, by ****, you don't half go on about utter pish mate. I didn't even read your last 2 essays, because, I was under the impression that they would be full of wind and pish.
