Remember when you lot said he was better than Wilshere? Now he's playing in the Championship and is probably the fifth best young English midfielder. What happened?
Yes they did. Nearly all of you did. At least you realise how stupid it was though. Anyway, can you answer my question?
No, we didn't. The general consensus was that he had similar potential to Wilshere and I still believe that, we're not exactly the best for breeding youngsters through the ranks either.
The trick is to find a really small club to send youth players who will become the best players there , like West Ham do with Birmingham
And it's worked for them. Ravel Morrison is excelling and will soon be partnering Wilshere in midfield for England.
If Josh was at Arsenal and Wilshire at Chelsea then Josh would probably be in contention for England by now. Not Josh's fault but he's at a club that has been rubbish at bringing through talent in the last 10 years. Arsenal have been brilliant at it to their credit. Not sure why you are bothered though WUM.
I just remembered him when we played Middlesbrough on Saturday - I'd completely forgotten he'd existed. He wasn't very good. Wilshere on the other hand was playing very well in the PL aged 17, so I'm not sure how you can just blame the clubs to be honest.
I think the general concensus is that he's been playing well at Boro and every week, at club who has been doing very well this season. It's not the P.L but he's doing well. Can't judge a player based on one performance. Wilshire has scored one P.L goal, he's hardly the finished article either.
Aye he wasn't good enough to break into the West Ham first team, even in the Championship, Hows Hall doing?
Wilshere might be joining him in the Championship soon if you aren't careful. You lot are worse than us.
