Don't believe it. He is not in control of the club. He does not have a say in the club or manager. He will go in the summer and we will be taken over by a russian Billionaire and Defoe as Captain. Amit and the Mittals will be off, or they might not be because Amit did not tweet for at least 24hrs! Trust me it will all be sorted on Monday or Tuesday but then things happen and it will be Friday.
I notice that he didn't use the word "stadium". That must mean that the stadium plans are dropped. I also notice that he didn't sign the tweet "El Pirata". That must mean that he IS El Pirata. He wouldn't want us to know by signing any tweets using that name. Double bluff, that one. Also he doesn't say just what he is talking to Harry about. It must be something pretty hush-hush because he didn't tell us. Sounds like they are planning to sign a really big name in January. Flippin' heck. Some tweet!
Who is "We" in "We are here for the long term"? If the Mittals are off, and TF has fallen out with his fellow shareholders, it can only mean one thing. Question? ... Off the pitch how much has QPR grown? ... After the Reading game honourable son number 3 went in to buy a few bits from the shop! ... all three kits as it turned out as he is playing again and so wanted to put a few up them at training on Tuesdays and Thursdays ... oh i have lost the point Anyway he had his shirts and shorts numbered and lettered ... I went in to see what the **** he was playing at ... a queue of at least 20 odd asians people buying Park shirts a lot of them on the red kit! The brand and the market is not just for us anymore! TF of course is in it for the long haul ... the shirts sales in Asia must be good. I also had a really great chat with a couple of the QPR players and I can tell they are passionate about this project. I feel for TF as he didn't want to give up on MH and I am sure he found it very hard to do what he had to do to appease the bile he didn't deserve to be reading. I also know that the players read the forums as I was chuffed to know that i was known Time to get behind the team and stop ripping into them wherever and whatever league we play in. The project will succeed IMO
I thought it was worth posting this tweet because it had been noted that TF had made no comment since Redknapp was appointed, and some people were wondering if there was any significance in that; the tweet shows that he is very much on board and is backing Redknapp. My comment about the word 'supporters' was an allusion to a debate that was raging on here until the early hours which some of you may have read. I was very happy to read what TF said, any other construction is well wide of the mark. Ellers, hilarious but nothing to do with anything I said.
Thats quite funny for a second class fan like you Swords. We are still waiting to see the pictures of all your expensive gear from the club shop. The thousands of pounds worth of stuff that you bought. Maybe you are too busy getting prepared for your trip to Afghanistan or maybe you are taking writing classes???
Always worth posting TF's tweets, and the saner amongst us might just take it at face value. Those not sane might worry that "Harry" is actually Debbie Harry, and TF is actually co-opting an aging rock star onto the board...
I presume you're classing Matt, Twins, Wubba, Nuts, Oddball, Queens etc all as "second class fans" too then?
