.Steve Bruce has indicated Sunderland youngster Craig Lynch will be given more opportunities to impress over the final weeks of the season.

The 19-year-old striker made his first-team debut for the Black Cats as a substitute in last Saturday's 3-0 Premier League defeat to Fulham.

Lynch has watched former youth-team player Jack Colback establish himself in the first-team over recent weeks as Sunderland attempt to deal with an injury crisis.

And manager Bruce feels the teenager could be the latest to profit from the Wearsiders' predicament.

Chance
The Black Cats boss told the club's official website: "Lynchy has done particularly well in the reserves.

"It wasn't a particularly nice time for him to come on but the boy has a bright future. Saturday will have done him the world of good.

"I'm sure he'll have a chance of figuring in the last few games of the season.

"The injury situation has given the young lads a chance and a couple of them have grasped it."

so it looks like lynch is going to get the chance to prove himself,

that's good and if noble isfit, i expect he'll play a part as well, should put some of the senior players noses out of joint...

..

The young ones,
Darling we're the young ones,
And young ones shouldn't be afraid.

To live, love
While the flame is strong,
for we may not be the young ones very long.

Tomorrow,
why wait till tomorrow,
Tomorrow sometimes never comes.
Love, me,
there's a song to be sung
And the best time is to sing while we're young.

Once in every lifetime
comes a love like this.
I need you and you need me.
Oh my darling can't you see.
Young dreams
Should be dreamed together,
Young hearts shouldn't be afraid.
And some day when the years have flown
Darling, this will teach the young ones of our own.
The young ones
Darling, we're the young ones
The young ones
Darling, we're the young ones.

Probably pick up a groin strain in the changing room or Bruce will have him tripped up during warm up. bring on safety, Bring on the end of the season, bring on the taxi for Bruce!

I don't know why, but I have a good feeling about tomorrow. I will be travelling to Bolton with what some might call blind optimism, but I suppose I have always been a glass is half full kind of bloke.
To try and put some logical basis behind this optimism, I would say that I'm delighted that Turner is out because in my opinion he has been dreadful since he came back. Also, the fact that we are playing some of the young fringe players will mean that they will be full of enthusiasm, and i'm hoping this will spread to the rest of the team...

I think you know my oppinion on Bruce, however I would never wish for the lads to get beat (even if it delivered his head on a plate). My heart says we will win my head thinks we have very little chance. Do me a favour mate, bring back three points.
