Why does he not get more games? I'm not committing a knee jerk reaction to the other night, but I've always liked him. Normally players are big but can't jump, or small and can jump. It's rare that you find a player who's big, strong and can jump high. Jones is 6ft 3 and jumps 7ft! His heading on goal is lethal, he gets far more power on them than Crouch does, and he's far more terrifying. He's also better on the deck. Kenny Jones is a fantastic target man, and he's better than Crouch IMO. I don't know why Walters and Crouch get a game over him. Jones is one of the best aerial threats in the league next to Carroll.
In short, he is lazy, slow, poor first touch and struggles to bring others into play unless its a knock down! In addition we dont play with 2 wingers now so the lack of crosses means a player like KJ becomes less needed. I agree with you over Walters though!
Yep your 100% right! One problem, Pennant is on loan at Wolves (What the fuks all that about) and Ethrington has just started to get in the starting XI, but he never finishes the game, all due to Walters playing every minute of every game!
Spot on about walters why does he play every single minute of every single game? love to ask tp that. jerome quicker more skilful and can probably finish better the latter might be a bit harsh but its how i see it.
Kenwyn Jones is useless on the deck and a lot of the time never looks interested. You may think he is better than Crouch but personally I think he isnt fit to lace Crouch's boots. I agree that Walters shouldnt be playing half as much as he has been though. Jerome looks much more dangerous than Walters and everyone knows that defenders hate pacey forwards.
