Always look at the BBC website on a Friday to have a laugh at the NostraDamus of football. No sign today, has he been sacked?
i think he's busy shaving his 'tash off as it's the end of Movember. Paul Merson does a similar feature on Sky Sports website, he's gone for a 2-0 home win on Sunday.
He changes like the wind. He is like a weather forecaster who told you it rained yesterday but has no idea what it will do tomorrow. Until recently he was on about CH being a good coach but not neccesarily a good manager. I note that all of that drivel has stopped and now we won't go down - why? Because we have just gone 7 unbeaten, but don't worry if we lost the next three he would revert to the earlier mantra. He is a cretin and I resent the fact that he gets paid out of my licence fee. While they are atit, take messers Shearer, Hansen and Lineker with him (and Gabby useless Logan) and promote Mark Chapman - greta host on 5Live and Final Score when madam is talking boll*cks on the rugby!
i don't know, maybe he's actually warming to us, seen some of our games recently and changed his mind! he was probably unsure about CH. In recent weeks he has proven what a very good MANAGER we have got. Especially his signings.
I too look at his weekly predictions for amusement and also to make myself hate the guy more. Even though he's predicted us to win, there is always an underlying negativity towards city. It really gets to me to be honest. What I was thinking the other day was that with myself and many others going on there to regularly check his awfully predictable predictions he his notching up lots of views, which I hope the bbc doesn't view as him being popular and keeping the lost chuckle brother in the job. I really do hope not!
Bizarrely he has QPR to win.He has them nine points ahead of their league position.I will laugh like a drain if Lambert does 'arry up like a kipper.
To echo other sentiments on this thread, I agree that Lawrenson is a complete waste of our licence fee money. The BBC need to employ a more knowledgeable and less biased pundit who will give every club a fair and honest assessment. Just look at his assessment of our match against Sunderland. He only saw fit to give us a three line write up. It's high time the Beeb kicked him into touch.
To be fair, they had one - and let him slip through their fingers and defect to share a studio with the cringeworthy Chiles and laugh-a-minute Keane Come back Lee Dixon - I'll offer you a straight swop for Lawrenson and throw in a Hansen, ITV
It might just be that he's learned every time he opens his more than adequate trap, NOT to always place his size 12's into it!
