Newcastle owner Mike Ashley is understood to be in negotiations with Rangers for naming rights to the Glasgow clubâs iconic Ibrox Stadium. The proposed deal would lead to one of footballâs most famous stadiums, which opened in 1899, being renamed the Sports Direct Arena to promote Ashleyâs sports retail empire. i actually don't see what the fuss is about naming a stadium. fans are not going to call it whatever the new name is and you get a few quid in the bank.
I agree. The marketing boys can call it whatever the **** they want if they stump up the dosh. It will still be Ibrox.
dont really see the problem either. Its all about the Queens Heads these days. In South America, theres barely a sponsor free part of the jersey. Load as many on as possible I say.
Sports Direct and Rangers are a match made in heaven https://twitter.com/LordLuvRocket1/status/274238677587206144/photo/1
Hook up with the Miami Dolphins instead of The Dallas Cowboys and you can name you stadium after Miami's old one Bish bosh, job's a good un.
Another of Chuck's lies. There was s story a couple of weeks ago when he said that Rangers and the Cowboys were in talks to form a joint venture, he also asked the press to leave the Cowboys alone and needless to say someone in the press did his job and asked the Cowboys. Basically they ridiculed the tale and said they had never even been in contact and knew hee haw about it.
Yeah, obviously, Dallas aren't wanting to give too much away before they know it is definitely signed!
