Hello all, I have swapped forum from new-606 to this one. Not much posting was happening on new-606 as a lot of people left. It looks like quite a few Chelsea fans are on here so it will be interesting to see what everyone has to say.

My thoughts on this season so far:

  • Decent start to the season, but have had a big slump since the 2-1 united game.
  • RDM should not have been sacked
  • Absolutely ridiculous to replace him with Rafa
  • Need luck to progress from the Group stages of champs league, though if we go out we need to have a strong title challenge.
 
I realised that just after I posted it, tried editing it but can't edit the title. NIGHTMARE START!!

The fact that the first response you got was from a spud should be of no surprise,they live and breath everything Chelsea <ok>

Well I thought someone should acknowledge the newbie's first thread, given the Chelsea "family" were ignoring it?
 
Haha, can already see the rivalries on here.

I hope we do bounce back with a win tonight, my dad wouldn't let me hear the last of it!!
 
Welcome mate to the board... the more the merrier! Yes we do have many rivalries on here and I'm sure you'll find them in due course.

It says your location is currently in Leeds... likewise here! I'm at the uni... planning on going to the Leeds v Chelsea game?
 
Nahh, going back home to work over Christmas, very skint atm. Going to watch it with a mate who is a big Leeds fan though.

To address your points.
1.Yep decent start. Manure was 3-2 thanks to the cheat Clattenberg.
2.If you look at RDM's LEAGUE results he is the worst manager in the last decade. We couldn't continue like that.
3.Not my first choice but I am more confident we'll win something and finish top 3 now.
4.Going out will be terrible but as you say it would leave us better placed for an all out league assault.
 
3-2, my bad... tried to block it from my memory. Can't see Rafa being in charge after this season, he'll be booed constantly for the rest of the season even if he wins something.

Welcome cobs.

I wouldn't be suprised to see Rafa stay depending on how he does just because I can't see us getting Pep in now.

The fans will largely come around if he does well as ultimately success on the pitch is what we all want to see. However he will have to turn things around fast otherwise every week the fans will be on his back. I feel a crucial 3-4 weeks is coming up which could define our season.

However it could be worse, look no further than our north London friends and QPR!!

Why? he could be one of your twisted ****s joining up to cause havoc like that old Norwegian arsehole who you banned as well.
