Just watched a bit of the Barcelona game. The commentators reckon that all 11 players currently on the pitch came through their academy: Valdes, Montoya, Piquet, Puyol, Alba, Busquets, Fabregas, Xavi, Pedro, Messi, Iniesta.

It looked like they dodged it completely, as Murray issued a little warning when talking about the upcoming headlines, saying that some of them weren't pretty, then they just didn't mention it!

Yep. Sky Sports, The Metro, Evening Standard, Guardian, Independent, Telegraph and The Fail have all reported it and most have run seperate stories for it too.
The Beeb have made no mention of it in any form yet did not shy away from the Terry accusations or anyother racist incident. Indeed they took delight in reporting Herbert's every word accompanied by a picture of a half empty block of stand taken in the latter minutes of our extra time loss to Arsenal in the League Cup. I wonder who the West Ham fan is that's vetoing any reporting of their fans acting like ant-semitic twats, I thought they were done covering stuff up at the BBC.
So overall we're not doing too badly are we? We almost held the league champions to a draw away and only lost to an 89th minute goal. We created chances against Arsenal and had a good win yesterday. Wigan seem to either win at WHL or take a thrashing but not in all cases and Norwich are on a good run. Depending on how things go I might consider Hughton as a coach for us in the future. A win on Wednesday will see us on an upward trend but we do have a team or two to watch out for.
The team which concerns me is WBA in 3rd place. I've never known them there before and Everton seem a bit inconsistent. Newcastle have taken a big nosedive from last season but are still capable of surprises. Sunderland are going better and so too Arsenal,why they didn't beat Villa baffles me though. Pool are inconsistent but do have a match winner and Chelsea are faltering. The Bubbles are going quite well but have only picked up one point in six.
All in all if we can put a spirited strongest team out we can still climb up and match the best.

WBA will likely be losing Odemwingie to the ACoN, so it's possible they'll lose ground then.

Aah thanks for the quick reply mate, yes I did, 100%. Thing is its not all the threads I comment on, its only about half?? Do you have to decline each thread individually or something?, its been doing my head in for weeks. Worst thing is I've got my phone linked to my emails, so every Monday morning its the same thing, 5 whole minutes of my life wasted deleting.
