at this board, it seems to me that most of the ipswich supporters are realy feed up at what is going on at the club on and off the field ,it seems we are well and trully stuck at the foothills of the league, looks like its going to be a hard and painfull season, still we must trust in MM .that is of course if he stays, oh its great being a town supporter.????????????????:

I've been a Town fan for over 30 years and this current team is quite simply a disgrace. Something is seriously wrong if we are struggling to get a point against Peterborough. I don't know whether we are still suffering from the Keane aftermath, but what worries me is the complete lack of passion from the players. Admittedly, heads are going to be down when confidence is low, but there's just no fight in them and in our situation there never will be because there are just too many loan players who probably can't wait to get back to their parent clubs. I can't see any improvements taking place till January at least, but I have great faith in Mick and once he has steadied the ship he will be able to bring happier times to PR.

If some of the players are putting themselves in the shop window so to speak then they aren't doing a very good job of showcasing their talents. What pisses me off is the lack of pride from the players. DJ and Wellens, although they may not give two hoots about Ipswich Towns results, have at least shown some level of personal pride in their performances. You can't say that about a lot of the other players who turn up on a match day. Even if you don't care about the outcome of the match you would think some of these players might at least have some kind of pride in their own perfomance but sadly, no.

Do not take this view that we lack passion, pride, or fight, to me it is just a case that we have too many players not good enough for this class of football, we lack pace, balance, and strenth all over the field. Every home game the opposition seem to dominate the possession, allways first to the ball, we get outhought in nearly every situation. Take the goal yesterday, Cresswell and Higginbottom leaving it to each other, not knowing where to go, who to mark. This is not lack of passion, its bloody awful defending. This is the worst bunch of players I have ever seen at Ipswich, from what I hear there are no shining lights in the reserves or youths. If your good enough, usually you will win most matches, the passion factor comes into it, but basically it is a simple game, and you have to have a talent for it, which we do not.

I'm in agreement we have one of worst teams since the heady days of the early 80's. I think it is still a hangover from the keane debacle. What I'd give to be a fly on the wall in the dressing room cos mick must be tearing them new a!@&holes. He'll get it right just needs to get a rush on. Wellens summed it up a fee weeks ago when he said the loanees where showing more fight, and we were a cosy club where the regulars were to comfortable. Good to see you having your Walters love in again rotter. Lol

otter, are you local to suffolk. How on earth do you know about Snape (Leiston are doing well too), let me know?

TS, you could call it lack of ability as to why we are always second to the ball or you could call it not having enough passion/fight to want to get there first. I have been saying for ages though that we really don't have the quality many think we do so you have a point. Personally I think it's a bit of both.
