A win at last, and not just any old win, its a win against top of the table Palace....(You're welcome Millwall). Although we were defending for our lives in the dying minutes, undoubtably, we deserved to win. Cant wait to see what more Thomas has up his sleeve.

When Pearce comes back from suspension, should he get his place back automatically?

Is anybody thinking we should possibly play with three centre backs? Lees Tate and Peace, and maybe go 5-3-2?
 
Morning all. Not sure about changing the formation after a great performance. Not easy for me to assess game as relying on two minutes of highlights on tv plus the snippets on forums and twitter. Will renew my LUTV subscription after the 21st when the old bastard is no longer chairman. Great for getting extended highlights, or used to be when I had it. How about Bates comments pre match apparently having a go at Warnock and vetoing the signing of Shaun Derry. Why didnt Bates manage the club as well for the past eight years as clearly the managers in place had no say
 
Why do we ever only get two minutes on the football league show?

You'd think Leeds vs top of the table Palace would dominate..../
 
dont want to burst anyones bubble but Andros Townsend started well for us after the first game he was dire

I havent watched the FLS since October and I guess its been the same for most Leeds fans so why would they put us on the main game when we where guaranteed to get spanked lol

Bet the viewing figures where up after a Leeds win though

Interesting idea about 5-3-2 elland. Think it would be a bit counter productive though, we just signed Thomas and Hall to play out wide and we won't be able to fit them into the formation...we're better off with 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 i reckon
 
No changes for Tuesday, hopefully. Anyone not playing on Saturday has to satisfy the manager that they've earned a place in a winning team, and they've not had the chance to do that yet (& I'm thinking Pearce in particular here).

Btw, re. Saturday, it was clear that we were playing 4-3-3. Is this the first time this season? Or is it just that when Varney plays, no-one has any fcuking idea what the hell is happening?

They showed at least a couple TC. Keogh had a couple of good headers disallowed didn't he ? Don't remember seeing the third though.
 
Goal difference will count for nothing by the end of december we will be streets ahead of 2nd spot <ok>

& We don't get out of 2nd gear till Xmas usually - the Millwall Express might have to be renamed the Millwall Rocket <ok>
