So my son and I made the trip to Manchester yesterday along with 1500 other R's fans. And what a great day it turned out to be! Both fans and players did us proud, just to have the chance to sing 'we are winning away, we are winning away, how sh1t must you be, we are winning away' great fun! Old Trafford is rather like a tourist attraction, with very little atmosphere created by the home fans, i guess that is the way premier clubs are going.

All on here would have now seen highlights of the game so I wont bore you with a match report. I will say the players showed passion again, all except Cisse who shows no commitment or encouragement, he would be my first out the door. At the end of the game Mbia made his way into the QPR supporters to give his shirt to a fan, respect to him!

On the train back to Euston my son and I upgraded to first class. A fella called Tony sat opposite us and we chatted and shared stories about the R's. He hadnt missed an away game for 2 seasons! Whilst we were talking a smart looking guy in a QPR suit walked past us to use the toilet, on his way back i complimented him on his attire, we all got talking. It turned out to be Ian Taylor, very nice guy! For over an hour we spoke about all things QPR. How Hughes was not asked to resign on that Monday, how there isnt a division in the dressing room simply players in groups as is the case in every workplace across the country, that Adel has become a man.

I can honestly say that we could not have enjoyed our day out any more than we did yesterday, ok a win would have put the cherry on the cake but the cake was oh so delicious!

As a footnote i would like to add that some of the members on this forum should get out more often and stop putting QPR down. Cerny is a total bullshit artist who is not in the know, my conversation yesterday left me in no doubt we have no ITK posters.

Thank you QPR for putting a smile on my face!

Glad you had a good day Loopy. Losing is not so bad when you know the team have given everything and that seemed to be the case yesterday watching the highlights and listening to the game. I think now Harry is in charge i know now that we will actually win a few games from thereon in. I still think its to late for Harry to save us but if we can play with some passion week in and week out and win a few games along the way i wont be to disappointed.

Ian Taylor tweeted about you loopy, it sounds like you made an impression! :

Just had a chat with a quartet of R's fans on the train home. Good guys and so committed to the cause. Unreal support today #QPR

Back in London and feeling more upbeat than I have for a while. First day of training under Harry tomorrow. Day off ... not a chance! #QPR

Cisse looked like he was trying on the highlights tbf. He's all we've got for goals....at least till Jan!

Watched the game twice now and the one thing i will say is that i could clearly hear our fans singing and not the home fans.

Well done to our travelling supporters, done us proud.

Glad it was a good day out <ok>

How nice is that! Thanks Grifter

I assure you he wasn't. Not nearly enough anyway.

Beg to differ on this one Watford. I was there and from what I saw he was chasing players down, tracking back and continually making good runs. Just didn't quite get the service and showed his disappointment which to me means he cares.

That's the impression I got from TV...but I bow to the opinions of those who were there.

Not often we disagree Watford, my opinion was, he looked 100% committed for the first time in a while.
Chronically out of form though , and not the same player as last season.

Thanks for sharing Loopy. I enjoy hearing about fellow Rs personal experiences. I'm glad you had a great day.

Sorry 74 but i can't agree with you on this. His off the ball movement is shocking, he just stands there or runs for a lost cause. He shows dissapointment in the same way as Adel of old i.e. sulking. The only way he had improved his game post southampton was by not killing the attack by standing offside. Determination is not his remit, yes he is the best we have but that isnt saying much as he is the last striker standing! Bring back DJ, he has QPR in his heart and something to prove. We should provide Cisse more time working on a fashion and perfume range. Grow some bollocks ya Sulking Cissy this aint no boutique!
