Awsome drive by vettell to come from last to 6th. If that was hamilton people would be ****ing over it.

great end to the season for Massa, drove really well today but obviously it wasn't his aim to win.

It doesn't feel as though Vettel deserves to be three time world champion (in a row) but congratulations anyway. We're all set for next year now as well have the usual competitors of Button, Alonso and Vettel. Hamilton depending on Mercedes quality. If Webber and Massa can pick up where they've left off (well Massa anyway) then there's another two competitors and of course Perez could be there too. Even Raikkonen.

Decent race, anti climatic end.

Massa was joint driver of the day for me: aside from his own result, he showed such a smooth, precise skill while helping his team mate.

Also Petrov was excellent but may not have a drive next year.

Well, well done Vettel. Still think after this season, Alonso deserves so much more than he has, but bad things happen to the best people all the time. it's just amazing how he kept within 3 points of winning in the worst Ferrari in years.

The FIA said Sebs move was legal <ok>

Well done Alonso, Ferrari and their fans, you made it very ****ing hard to win this one. Feel for your defeat you did all you could and have gained worldwide respect for your drive and dedication this season. Great to see Felipe has returned! Reckon next year you boys will be fighting everywhere for the WCC as it looks now your team have now the best combo of drivers since Felipe has been on fire! Glad he is back! <ok>

What a long season 2012 has been. Remember Malaysia when Perez took his first podium and Alonso won in a bad Ferrari. Doesn't that seem like 2 or 3 years ago now.

Amazing season with so many twists and turns. Maldonados season has been very fun to follow. Raikkonen takes 3rd on his comeback and he/Lotus should be aiming for the championship next season.

Hamilton has delivered a masterclass all year.

Vettel has put in some stunners like Valencia.

We have had close wheel to wheel racing in most of the events this year to complement the topsy turvy WDC standings.
And hell what a finale, It appeared to swing to one driver the the other multiple times.

And it was amazing to see the reborn Massa.
Its a shame how Hamiltons race ended.

Its going to be this hard for years to come. The best 2 on the grid, and hopefully with the new practice/quali drs rule, Alonso will be able to qualify higher and have a proper fight for the title.
It'll be great to see two real legends fight from now.

If you're a Vettel fan, i advise you to read the BBC comment page on the race. Never seen such a bunch of miserable bitter twunts. Vettel won, get over it.

Amazing end to an amazing season. Interlagos is my favourite track on the calendar, always seems to produce a classic race and it's unique for a number of reasons.

Gutted Hulk didn't get the win (it cost me a point in the prediction game <cry>), but it was his own mistakes which cost him in the end. He's the best driver without a top drive in my opinion, hopefully Sauber will continue to build on this season and he'll win a race next year.

Delighted Seb clinched it with a performance like that, coming back through the field with a severely damaged rear and the championship at stake. Should've put to bed a few doubts but there'll still be the most obstinate haters refusing to acknowledge how good he is.

I felt sorry for Alonso when he was stood with his visor up after the race, and Hamilton when he was trudging back to the garage in the rain. Sport can be so cruel sometimes.

Can't wait for next season. It's got a lot to live up to, I think it will probably end up being Vettel vs McLaren, or Vettel vs Button if he's on form. I'm hoping it will be as competitive as this year though. Alonso, Hamilton and Raikkonen all deserve to have competitive cars, and with stable regulations Ferrari, Mercedes and Lotus have no excuses for being half a second behind Red Bull and McLaren. Everything's in place for another classic.

The haters can go **** themselves and suck a Lemon for the next couple of weeks for all I care. Seb is the youngest triple world champion in history and I think that record will stand until the day I die!

I was watching a repeat of Australia the other day and the cars were sliding about all over the place as they struggled with the lack of rear grip and switching the tyres on. It was likely watching a race from a different era. 20 races is a massive season, it's taken over 8 months, there's no way they can extend the calendar beyond that.

I was buzzing all the way through that race. Phenomenal race i could not catch my breath watching it action from start to finish, who dared to say anti-climax. As ever delighted to see Jenson win, the little side show with Vettel and Alonso was good too :emoticon-0105-wink:

I think its an end to a period of stability since 2010. 2013 with be a very different grid With Hamilton changing to teams, Schumacher leaving, HRT, Kovalainen, Kobayashi and so on... I think the mini-era went out in style.

I dont understand the venom in general towards any driver! I wanted Alonso to win but can respect the tough job Vettle did today - fair play!

I thought in the intial stages Button and Hulk were fantastic and were unlucky to get their 40 second lead wiped out for being brave enough to stay out on slicks! Felt abit for both Hulk and Lewis but thought it was a racing incident. Fair play to Alonso for finishing again on the podium and a special mentioned to Massa - hope he keeps his form next year!

Fair play to Ferrari and Alonso for not jumping on the Yellow flag thing, obvioulsy more sporting tham some give them credit for! Great end to the season!

The reason why so much hate is directed at Seb is because he makes other greats records look like **** now, he was never meant to become a triple WDC at such a young age or break Senna's record. He broke Lewis and Alonso's records, but Senna's was the big one!

After that drive *shakes head* how can anybody say he didn't deserve that WDC or not be consider a great by prats like Jackie Stewart...

Newey wins nothing for 10 years and BANG! Seb becomes the youngest triple WDC of all time and all the credit goes to Newey. Seb won that race himself, got ****ed by Webber, got ****ed by Senna, got ****ed by the damage, got ****ed by the radio, got ****ed by the tyres, got ****ed by massa.... and he still won the title in the rain where the likes of Kimi and Alonso were losing it. I don't think Seb actually put a foot wrong today, while under that amount of pressure he still did it where most would of cracked BIG TIME!
