    Morning gents,

Just wondered how Lappin got on for you boys yesterday? I know there was a red card, but if you're giving 100% these things happen sometimes.

He was always class for us and I'm a big fan, shame chances have been limited for him at Carrow Rd.

    All the best,

    CS.

Yeh it was a double yellow. Heard a couple of report saying he was out of position a couple of times but I don't particulary blame him, think he was very much thrown in at the deep end due to our growing injury problem at the back.

I'm more annoyed that we just got our first red card in 2 years. It was our first since darcy got sent off for 2 yellows (one of which shouldn't have been given). I guess we can always argue that lappin isn't really our player :p
I wonder what is going to happen in defense now. we brought him in as cover and now even our cover isn't available :S

A player who is slightly off the pace is far more likely to get a straight red or double yellow through frustration. Lappin seemd to fit that bill yesterday. I can remember McPhail suffering with the same results a couple years back when he came back after a layoff. Too slow to react and they go for the foul option through frustration.

As far as the first red for the club in a while is concerned, I agree - I was annoyed at that as well. Taking one for the team is all very well, but he's cocked it up for us for Tuesday as well as tarnishing the record.

Maybe not though - another storming game from a debutante awaits. Step up Declan!!

Both McNuggets and Taylor are nearing fitness so one of those needs to be ready. As per an earlier post, Bellamy to start on the left for his defensive duties with Noone switching sides.

Thought it quite funny actually Blue. I suppose you could have said 'what, Noone having a sex change?' Come to think of it, he's got a bit of a squeeky voice.
