Without AV we'd have no TV.

    I'm all for AV.

AV in! (and out of course or it wouldn't work...)

Voted yes. It's not ideal but if it fails then we'll never get a meaningful electoral reform, and we'll forever be stuck with the **** we have now.

I voted Yes to the AV for one reason and one reason only. David Cameron said to vote 'no'. Twat.

Mathematically, I can see the benefits of AV, alas as a Tory (don't lynch me) one huge draw back is they may get taken out via tactics (that's right there is tactical voting in AV.) Neither method provides a condorcet winner. I am more for the method done in Germany personally. I also do not buy the whole I do not understand AV argument either. It is simple... Bah I don't know.... Might vote no!

Please vote yes. It's absolutely ridiculous that right now, with the current system, a party could easily win a council seat with only 20% of the votes. Why are 20% of the population deciding who is in charge of us?

With AV, any party must get AT LEAST 50% of the votes. That's the whole bloody point of a voting system. It means that parties are elected by the will of the majority of the population.

Not relevant to me as I don't get a vote. We have our own government. Just thought I'd share that with you :)

There's no escape, we're doomed! All we need now is for the labour leader to advise against voting all together then we will be screwed. Twat v Twat v Twat!

We need to revive the Kingdom of Northumbria. Or just annex Newcastle as an independent country.

With AV you can vote first for the least twattish twat and then the next twat who is a bigger twat than the first twat but not quite as twatty as the biggest twat.
