You're winning percentage is higher than your IQ Olof, well done fella But Leeds are starting to dominate this award now and after papa smurf pulled his latest takeover stunt I can see them winning it next week too
Mick, the 24,000 capacity...will there be further room to expand do you know? If you guys do make a return to the top flight after it has been build I am not sure it is going to be big enough. If I remember rightly, the last time Millwall reached those dizzy heights most, if not all home games were a sell out, yes?
So is 24,000 going to be enough if you go back up? The point being, football has become fashionable since the last time Wall made it, crowds on average are well up since those days. I can't see 24,000 would be enough tbh
Get promoted, you will mate Away followings by some clubs in the PL has exploded. Hell we are taking 3000+ to most away games now
Anywhere from about 1600-3000 on a Saturday, depending on the allocation given. I believe we had something like 4000 on a Tuesday night away at Leicester Ipswich would only give us about 2,200 tickets otherwise that would have had well over 5000+ for the midweek game at their place L1 was not much different, sell out at home with maybe 1200-2500, again depending on allocation. I think we took over Colchester that season when we got payback and smashed them 5-0
That's not hard mate we took 3,000 there that season - more Wall there than pikies that day! Best thing that could have happened too you as things turned out getting destroyed on the first game , CR wasn't a fortress that day
A dark day indeed Steve. I was convinced we were going to drop down to L2 the day we got relegated from the Championship, such was the state of the club and yes, that thumping was the catalyst for some of the board to pack there bags and never come within 200 miles of the city again! The guy in charge was Neil Doncaster. if you want an idea of how good he was - take a lot at the current state of Scottish football - he's running it
Thai i do believe when the den was built it was constructed in a way that if need be extra tiers could be easily added to the stands but slow down m8 one step at a time we are Millwall and not impatient we arent Leeds and want it all tomorrow
I find it odd that you had such numbers there, I have never seen a good turnout at CR when we have played you guys.
