MA said that he don't get players to train with the Youth team, I still believe Jack is with the first team.

You should not always believe what a Manager says ! Luton rec. this morning for example. I know the first team were away I understand that but it is not the first time since the announcement was made that he has had to train with the youth. A few weeks ago Jack Payne was the best thing since slice bread according to MA in the local rag and then up for sale. Talking up Dack and Essam in the last couple of days but it almost like the dreaded vote of confidence when it comes from MA mouth, or so it appears. Rumour a few weeks ago was that he told Jackman he could go out on loan, now he also is a top player. Fickle comes to mind !

eltorro - strangely enough I do accept what you say, it must be the old wise man in me. It is good for a change that the fans are being kept up todate with regular reports from MA. Also he certainly is not adverse to the media. However, I certainly do see through all the statements about various players, followed by subsequent/differing actions. Essam, Payne, Jackman all good examples that you have highlighted. The trouble is MA is a gifted man at this moment in time and no one including myself is going to complain while we are four points clear at the top of the league. Currently we are going through a bad patch, Cheltenham, Plymouth, Exeter and nearly Morecambe. Anyone that doubts that has only to look at the stats for November. He is now going to be tested as we move into what I have predicted will be the most difficult month in our campaign December. I am not sure 100% what the situation is with Wright but it could be the turning point that unlocks his ability either way up until the January window.

I like MA but I am not fooled by his personality, I always see beyond the mask of the public front in people.

BRB -In years gone past us old wise men would site together in a pub over half an ale and discuss the current topic and perhaps play dominos. Today it is internet forums ! The one thing I think we should all remember is who pays MA's wages. I am certain there are times where he must follow the company edict and words/decisions maybe made for him and he is just left to deliver them.

At last we agree. Surely somebody at the club could see that 5pm was approaching ?

really can't believe the david wright deal never went through, we had most of the week for hess, scally and even allen to get it done and it looks like the deal was concluded minutes after the deadline...though crystal palace may have had a lot to do with that ?

think not signing him will have a big effect on our points total, be it till January or the end of the season !
