Me, on the other hand, I would laugh my cock off. By the way, Drogs. Why don't you use your signature space to pack in a whole of quotes from me predicting the sacking of RDM, right from the moment he was appointed your manager right up until last night?
Becuase like I said, it's not an achievement to guess the sacking of the Chelsea manager. It's almost a nailed on fact.
For the record I do agree with you but and just throwing it out there... We are third due to as much as anything inconsistency from the likes of Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal. If any or all of them got their act together we would be in trouble if the past month is anything to go by. I can't see where the next win is coming from and we are as good as out of the C.L in the groups for the first time ever. Even if we make it through it'll be Juve ****ing up more than down to our own performances. I have to say it does't look 'that' bad on paper but I have been shocked how we have been so badly out played in Europe this season (madrid, juve and shaktar) and we spent a lot of money in the summer so Roman is going to demand more than what we've been showing. Take away the north London trips and the season has not been great so far.
Yeah I know what you mean, but leaving Robbie with no real striking options is the reason we are where we are imo. Sacking someone after 12 league games is absolutely sickening! Yeah, tbf though I'd much rather 'Arry than Rafa!
You just want to hope that Brendan Rodgers doesn't make a public announcement to say he's not interestd in the job.........
I'm not that surprised at this, our champions league performance this season has been really poor. We got our asses handed to us by Shaktar and Juve. Wouldn't mind Rafa that much unlike most here, he isn't a bad manager.
Poor P.L record though which Liverpools cup runs papered over and given we will probably be out the C.L in 2 week, I don't see the point in Rafa as a stop gap. I think it will be Rafa though.
But I didn't merely "guess" his sacking, I said that he was favourite to be the first high-profile manager to get sacked this season. I also said that he would be gone by the New Year. Everyone on this board - everyone - rubbished me. But, I was correct, wasn't I? On both counts.
Well done HIAG, truly magnificent I think you'll also find that the majority of people on this site think you're a total bell end at best, so it's win win really.
Poor premier league record? Is that just because he never won it? He got them to top four most seasons, with an average Liverpool side and won a champions league with them. The only real top players that I can think that he had were Torres, Gerrard, Reina and Xabi Alonso. Maybe others can remind me of other quality players that they had but I cant think of any off the top of my head.
Hey! There's no need to get personal. Why must everyone look to shoot the messenger. I didn't sack him ffs!
It's not a gamble when you are certain of something. I'm sure the odds would have been great considering he won the champions league.
