I guess with Xmas just over a week later, McNally and co have decided to offer 'casual'fans a bit of a bargain - 'Seats will be priced at £19 for adults, £10 for over-65s and £5 for under-16s.' Pity they couldn't have done it for the CoC game against Spurs - I would have/of gone then!!! http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/article/wigan-h-1213-491325.aspx
I still don't know what I did wrong with that one! Anyway, I will be back from Uni by this point and might have a look at trying to get a ticket...
Re your 'footnote' - saw a guy in the Rumsey Wells last night with '9' on the back of his City shirt and the words - 'Feed the Horse!!' - BRILLIANT.
Ok, anyone who has ever done this before do I have a chance of getting four tickets all next to eachother as long as I buy as soon as they are released on general sale?
I hope you don't see this as patronising, but it's always 'have'! The confusion comes because people once shortened 'would have' into 'would've' and that wrongly morphed into 'would of'. It was a good idea to hedge your bets though!
Last year they brought about 20 fans as I remember - not sure how many they'll bring with them this time but as it is so close to Christmas I assume not many so there might be a good chance that a lot of tickets that would normally be allocated to away fans might be available if they close off more of the away section.
well done city for trying to entice a few more through the door, when financially it will be a tight month for everyone. if i wasn't busy that weekend i'd consider the road trip east myself and take the children for £5 each. on a side note, i see there are quite a few tickets left for the game vs Sunderland in early Dec. i wonder if there is some novelty of PL football rubbing off now; the game is on TV as well though which will have an impact.
Yes and I'm going out that evening, so have had to give up my season ticket and just watch the match on TV!! SKY - Bah, Humbug!!!!!
