run for me money Red

Dont agree with the critisim for AP the horse looked spooked to me and in think a hangover from being electrocuted at Newbury, Mccoys not a cheat to high profile BUT can get away with things that other jocks would not, but not today
thats my impression

Disagree Danbo if they are going to play that card every time he runs why hasn't he been retired ? he has won well since and the two times I remember once he made all and the next he raced in 2nd all the way around until taking it up and winning easily (Punchestown)

i agree RV retire him, but honestly dont think AP would do that at the open, to high profile

Don't agree but heyy that's what this game is all about. Maybe a bit harsh on AP nothing to do with my bet on the horse I have a soft spot for Kid Cassidy. And it is a shame imo he hasn't been put in the race on his last two starts. Last 2 times he was ridden prominently he won

A little ew on Duke of Navan at 25-1 to prove he can repeat his Newcastle romp whilst up in grade.

I watched the Kid Cassidy race too, I was on Free World, Kid Cassidy went past him like he wasn't there down the hill and I thought he's gonna pick them up from there but he didn't. Didn't really ever get into a position to challenge! Poor ride, and agreed he was too far out the back.

Did Mike Cat say that its given a boost to Frankie... Wouldn't have thought he needed a boost...<laugh><laugh>

Dodging Bullets...<cracker>

let's get this up nice and early with a good meeting at cheltenham for us all to take a look at.

I, however, will be betting at newcastle where nicky richards runs eduard in the opener. This one ran well on hurdling debut only losing a head but well clear of the remainder that included some 120 rated horses. I think improvement is likely and even if he doesn't come on i'd be surprised if he can't win getting a half stone from gold ability. This is the trainers only runner at the track and he's got a successful record at the course.

The 12.50 has a very exciting novice chaser making his fencing debut. Alands island is a big talent. Very well supported on bumper debut. He was tim's best bumper horse in the season he had the champion bumper second which is an indication of the reputation he built for himself within the yard. His hurdling was good if not spectacular last year but jp paid big money for him to go chasing and not mess about over the smaller obstacles. He'll be favourite tomorrow and i think rightfully so. It's the right trip and the ground should be okay. I expect a bold debut and with a bit of luck i think we'll be seeing this horse in one of the cheltenham middle to long distance novice chases in march.

I will be on dodging bullets as well on friday at cheltenham.

Good luck one and all on friday.
