Only just seen the pic! <laugh>...yep, perfect, anyone who shops at Jacomo is exactly what we need! :D

<laugh> I actually just spat my drink out reading that!

Funnily enough, I've never actually shopped at Jacamo, will definitely need to after Christmas though! In fairness looking at that pic, it does actually makes me look a tad bigger than what I am... I thought cameras were meant to makes us look stunning! :emoticon-0101-sadsm

SOS, my last comment was a play on words over "Xavi"....

I'm actually in hysterics that of all the pictures you could have uploaded to prove you don't look like Joe hart, you've actually shown us all one of you trying to break a lamp post!!

"chavvy" it is from now on mate, and you've brought that one on yourself! hahahaha.

this thread is brilliant.

I know mate, I was trying to be funny in the response... Clearly didn't put it across well! Haha.

LOL miscommunication there. the sentence you've highlighted wasn't me pointing out that i thought you'd misunderstood, it was me just writing an opening line to lead onto the next part about JH and lamp posts!!

It's Friday and the day before the NLD so my mind isn't fully functioning (not that it ever does!), that's my excuse :D

i wondered why you'd been so argumentative! <laugh>

<laugh>

I do actually tend to get really hyped up and aggressive before a NLD add to the fact I've been in a foul mood most of the week too... Bodes well! I'm going to a pub tomorrow with a few mates where apparently 50% is Spurs and 50% is them lot... Perfect for my mood :D

Play CDM for my Sunday league team, feel similar to the OP about making a crunching tackle, playing a simple pass to a team mate then sitting back again and waiting for the next time I'm needed. Occasionally play across the back line when needed although my control isn't really good enough for fullback. Always been pacy too with good stamina due to the running I do so am a decent player surprisingly <ok>

You're our Bale then mate! The rest of us can't run for sh*t! <laugh>

Played in goal, was fortunate enough to reach semi-pro level and was also fortunate enough to play until I was 40.

Right back.

Right back on the bench when you see I can't play football.

I might be okay in goal as a desperation measure if we didn't have a keeper. I'd have to study up, but I'm six four or five, skinny and sure-handed.

I did try playing CB against some good players (South Americans) not too long ago. I realized that if I stayed between that round thing and the goal I was an annoyance. And if the round thing did get past me, it was a good idea to not let the player follow it, by any means necessary.

Another poster post a real pic of himself.

This thread is bringing the truth out in more ways than one.

Left back in the dressing room cutting oranges more like ;) I'm sure you'd make a good basketball player though, I thought you'd posted a picture of a wind turbine at first!
