I find Joe hart to be cocky!

I sniggered when Ibra returned his header with some extras added on.

I am quite happy for a goalkeeper to be cocky. For me Gomes biggest failure was not being strong minded enough a nice guy between the posts is a luxury we can't afford.

Mean tough and cocky will do fine.

PLEASE CLOSE IT!!
Seriously, this whole topic is driving me to drink - as if I needed any help being Spurs!!

We have a weather eye on it Relayer but so far it's all going swimmingly. <laugh>

Yeah, right!! Lol
Could just write the bloody thing myself and have done with it - copy and paste from any one of 100 similar over the past couple of months!!! <yikes>
Where's the Scotch...??

Don't close it! We need another Lloris thread!!! <laugh>

on a serious note, the top comment says this:

"Have to feel for friedel in a way, the guy is crippled with debt which isnt of his own doing, and probably cant afford to retire as of yet which is why he still performs week in week out and works his socks off. But AVB has signed 1 of the worlds top keepers and he cant spend his career on the bench! AVB loves causing a stir..."

does anyone know any more of Freidel's debt? or is this some sort of sarcastic comment (as footballers earn a fortune) which has gone way over my head?

He was declared bankrupt a couple of years ago. I think it was something to do with his kids football coaching schools.

Unbelievable, but true!

Sympathy for financial troubles-most of us have some of that, but it shouldn't be the reason to pick a player.
If he is dealing with it fine, if it is affecting his form different story.
I have been been a fence sitter on the keeper issue, but its time to give Hugo a few league games to see if his is up to it.

Hang on a minute here, there is no evidence whatsoever that we are picking Brad to help him financially. There is also no evidence whatsoever to suggest something which happened nearly 2 years ago is affecting his performances on the pitch this season.
