'How much more of this rubbish do QPR fans have to take?' HITC on: HITC on TwitterHITC on FacebookHITC on LinkedInHITC RSS Feed HITC Sport on: QPR fan Paul Moore vents on the team's disastrous winless start to the Premier League season. I got out of bed just after six on Saturday morning to go to my first away game of the season. Despite the fact that QPR havenât won a game this season I was still in a confident mood as we left on the coach just after 9am. The weather in London was a bit cold and overcast and the closer we got to the Britannia the more the sun came out; I hoped it was a sign of things to come. Having an âaway endâ car park is a very good idea; off the coach and into the ground which had a nice big bar! I took my seat about 2.40pm; I sat in the front row and had a great view, or so I thought! Tony Fernandes came out of the tunnel briefly and was given a warm round of applause; a man loved by most of the fans. The first half hour of the game wasnât great by either side; two teams not in great form cancelling each other out. As half time approached everyone that had to be there seemed to walk round the pitch; from the Police and stewards to the press and ball boys. Some of them even had a chat so stopped, meaning we could see nothing! At half time we were drawing and I was still confident we could get something out of the game. I looked to my right and saw they had a big screen and made a mental note to look at it if people walked across and obstructed my view. The second half started much the same as the first; I have to say Peter Crouch does like to use his elbows and moan a lot! Then Stoke scored and I got a nasty feeling we were going to lose despite plenty of time to reply. Some of the playersâ heads went down and any good manager would have seen that and made changes; of course nothing happened. A player I will single out for praise is captain Ryan Nelsen; he spills blood and sweat and never gives up; if we had half a dozen players with his commitment we wouldnât be in this mess. We created a few chances but in all honesty I never thought weâd score; just call it a feeling. Again as the game came to a close people walked in front so I looked back at the big screen; only to have stewards standing up in front to block the view. When asked by fans to sit down they never answered; they just smiled. That didnât help the mood amongst the QPR fans and when asked afterwards they said they were protecting the away fans; yet one steward said it was the QPR fans causing the trouble! So who were the stewards protecting? I paid to see a game not people walking in front of me or blocking my view of the big screen. Back to the matter at hand, how much longer is Tony Fernandes going to let a man who seems clueless manage the club I adore? We havenât won away since he took over; and we havenât won a league game all season! Tony, I love the zest you have for the club and loyalty you have to Mark Hughes but on this one youâve made a mistake; act now or it will get very bad and very ugly. image: © Tom Cuppens Paul Moore @mooros69more stories from Paul Moore Father of 7, owner of akickintheballs.webnode.com. He may not get to many games BUT he is bang on with his thoughts. Long time loyal fans who have seen many a manager come and go .............. it doesn't take much to sum up whether 'the manager' is going to work out AND OR the team is shot. Whether it is the season or not, it's time for some spring cleaning.
Good read. He's right, TF still has a lot of support but it can turn ugly very quickly. He still has a chance to be a hero. Just hope he seeks independent advice before appointing the next manager because he knows sfa about football.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....That will be that great view you get that makes your view and opinions much more valid than those who dont attend then eh?!! Case closed...I didnt evensee the match and think i saw more than him !! On a side note, Massive respect to those of you who do go to the matches to support the boys..Massive credit to our club!...! Well done.
Just waiting for those who were adamant during the week to read it.....could be fun...!come on Ellers, Col, fingls...etc...where are you ?
