Can't speak for everyone, but personally I'd be happier with Simon Jordan against me than with.

    Will listen though. <ok>

Haven't find the Simon Jordon segment yet Northolt. I did however discover that FC United lost in the play-off final yesterday.

    So you know, every cloud.

I have no axe to grind with QPR or the vast majority of it's fans

Most City fans, myself included are perfectly happy with 2nd and don't want to be crowned as Champions as a result of a points deduction but the fact remains, QPR have 7 charges to defend and if unsuccesfull there is a very real possibilty that a point deduction would be handed out.

It doesn't really matter what Simon Jordan or anyone else says as I am sure such people do not have all the facts to hand. The only people who have all the facts are attending the hearing starting today.

    Hmm, he is pretty certain.

I can't listen to Simon Jordan and take anything he says seriously though. Partly because there's no way of knowing how truthful he's being. Partly because when I hear Simon Jordan, my mind goes back a few years to a Fighting Talk episode, where Steve Bunce, Dominic Holland, Christian O'Connell and Martin Kelner ripped him to shreds.

Any points deduction less than 10 is a good warning to other offenders. Deductions over that, meaning QPR are not automatically promoted is ridiculous. If QPR have to join the playoffs and do not go through - expect a Legal challenge which will run and run. The club can pay any fine - and can finance ANY legal challenge to the authorities (jokers).

Lets face it. Regardless of what QPR have or haven't done the FA will bottle it as always.

They'll give them a massive fine, a token points deduction so the table won't be affected and a suspended fine and a warning about their future conduct.

This way they'll be seen as doing something to punish QPR while at the same time causing minimum disruption to the play-offs and not annoying the bigwigs in the Premiership.

I think if they deduct any more than 5 points it would be a ridiculously harsh decision. What they should do, however is ban the likes of ecclestone and briatore - plonkers

I think it should be a massive, massive fine. I desperately want it to be a massive, massive fine, but no points deduction (would take QPR, Norwich and Reading over Cardiff, Swansea and Forest/Leeds anyday).

But I'm convinced that this is an all-or-nothing situation. Not because of this season, but because of the impact Faurlin had in 09/10. If what QPR have done was worthy of a 15 point penalty, and that penalty was applied in 09/10, QPR would be a League One club right now. So, in as unenthusiastic a way as possible, I hope that Simon Jordan is right, and QPR have done nothing at all. If he's wrong, I fear that they'll have the book thrown at them.

Can't see Phil Brown running the FA. Still, guess he couldn't do a worse job than those before him.

If they have broken the rules ( i say that because being a simple member of the public, i have no ACTUAL knowledge of the facts of the case before QPR), then would a transfer embargo be punishment enough? I think it posses a good compromise (unless im making up the rules as i go along - or is that the FA's job?).

It allows a team who have done v well this season, especially with the fear of punishment looming over all season, to be promoted as deserved but yet puts a strain on Colin W*nker's ability to manage - anyone else agree?
