Couldn't have put it better myself http://www1.skysports.com/football/...anager-Ally-McCoist-offers-sympathy-to-Hearts Rangers manager Ally McCoist has offered his sympathy and support to Hearts. The Edinburgh side have become the latest Scottish club to be plunged into a financial crisis after being issued with a winding up order by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs over a tax bill of almost £450,000. Rangers were themselves forced to call in the administrators in February as a result of HMRC action and were eventually liquidated in the summer before being relaunched as a newco. McCoist said: "We probably understand and sympathise more with Hearts than possibly any other club, just due to the fact that we know exactly what they're going through. "Our sympathies are with all the players and staff and supporters. "You are effectively talking about peoples' livelihoods and peoples' lives which, in the grand scheme of things, is far greater than any result. "Our thoughts are with Hearts at the moment, we sympathise with them greatly, and we just hope that they can come out of it in a positive way like we have. "All I want is for Hearts to survive and for people to keep their jobs and for Hearts supporters to have a team to go and watch."
Why would I? He seems to know what he's talking about for the most part, and i've never claimed to be expert in Corporate Recovery packages especially in the field of Licensed trade, Haulage, Printing, Construction and Agriculture like Mr Patullo. As AP says he seems to think that Rangers were "Relegated" , he also talks of "Falling attendances" even though I have read just last week that they are up at all SPL clubs apart from Hearts, Celtic and St Mirren. He has also failed to take into account that Hearts have not yet played any of the "Bigger" teams at Tynecastle and therefore revenue will naturally be down thus far. As for his suggestion that "there was a real risk that Hearts could play its last game on 17 November. " I don't think you need to be a genius or a financial whizz kid to work that out when Hearts said it themselves. If he says Hearts may go to the wall, I agree with him.Thing is, so do Hearts.
Why are there no Hertz fans on this forum? I want to unload the amount of pish rippin av been taking this year onto them
Apparently Rangers offered Hearts the balance of payment for Wallace due next summer (half a million) now and Romanov declined the offer It wiz just reported on BBC Radio Scotland.
Yeah but they offered half what they owe, not all, and paying it now rather than waiting til the summer.
It's been clarified. There's a payment of 300k due to Hearts in December, with the balance (500k) due to them next summer. Rangers offered them 500k now in settlement.
