Glad for the fans who've endured Watford, Barnsley and Palace (apart from the ones who wanted Powell out!) Nights at the Valley like this stay in the memory.

    FT 5-4

    Oh my sweet lord

Everything that is brilliant and ridiculous about Charlton encapsulated in one evening.

Look forward to hearing from those who were there...once you've all recovered from the shock

Final whistle. Thank God for that. Gotta say I've got a soft spot for the bluebirds. I remember them being beaten by Blackpool in the play off final, and they were very very sporting considering the amount of anti-taffy rubbish they had to put up with. Still, tonight is our night, and finally, a win at the ground the away teams called Fortress Valley. It's ours again.

I don't even care that we put Palace top. First the Addicks.

that was nervy. Hope you all appreciate me sacrificing winning the Euromillions so we won tonight ;) Dad said Jacko can't run but we've always known that but Stephens had a good game apparently, so did Hamer until towards the end when he started to flap, this could be the win we needed to kick start our season again. COYR!

Ted, they can name part of a stand for you after that, it might put the confidence back in the team (if we can hypnotise them into forgetting what went on in injury time). Lucky we got a bit of a cushion, cos imagine going into the nintieth minute 3-2 up and losing.

Message to Slater and co. Could be Mr Powell needs a bit of spending money after christmas.

anyone see the match? good and needed win for you but clearly something is badly wrong if you compare a 100% home record to our mediocre away form....... what were the goals we conceded like?

Just got back from the valley wow what can you say 40 mins poor then jj double next 45 we were magnificent coulda been 8 then 6 mins injury time where did that come from and....nearly blew it.
Pritchard and Haynes quality for me joint MOTM Hudson reproduced his Charlton form.
Who says we lack heart as for stripping jj of captaincy he lead us like a captain should
The atmosphere was brilliant from 2 0 down we never stopped singing a real 12th man.
The boys played for themselves the shirt CP and Us

Just got back...what the hell just happened??? I've never seen such a mental game! We went from starting completely out of our depth to playing better than anything we did last season!
Though Haynes was the difference, he looked sharp and confident. Hulse had a good game as did, as usual, solly.

    ...time for bed me thinks!
