Just thought I'd come on here to congratulate your fans today. Just like last season your lot were loud proud and positive. Not many fans come to our place and get behind their team like you lot do. In fact I'll go to say that usually the London clubs support are shocking. Arsenal and QPR are the worst away fans to show up with QPR just shading it for the title of worst fans.

Also today myself and 3 other Swans 606 posters, SA9, Billybjack and FFS met up with Bucks Blue and his dad for a few pints and a chat before the game. I know you'll all know Bucks from here but I'm happy to confirm something you all already know and that he is an absolute gem. A top bloke and a passionate Chelsea fan sitting proudly in the pub wearing his Chelsea shirt chatting to us Jacks. He definitely did you Chelsea 606ers proud today. I hope I can get tickets for the game at the Bridge and meet up again.

In this day and age when it's easy to criticise clubs, fans and football in general and given all the nonsense you've had to put up with over the last week I just thought I'd like to say something positive about your club and your fans.

Ps lads, I reckon a draw was just about right.

Thanks for the appreciation lads. Your views sure are a welcome breath of fresh air in both topicality and opinion. I am pretty much in full voice all throughout the match in an away game and so are the people around me. As I myself try to go to as many away games as my time and finance allows me, it's great not feeling the pressure a home match would bring (i.e. must win this game) and just allowing myself to be absorbed into fully supporting the boys as well as the odd original chant we can come up with depending on all the ongoings.

By the way, don't expect anything of the sort back at Stamford Bridge sadly. I can shamefully admit that the atmosphere is poor most of the time (except for when playing a rival or in a European knock-out tie) due to the tourists and "spectator" fans. Most of the vocal fans are placed too separately to be heard whilst many don't bother anymore due to the stewards and spectators trying to kill the passion. I know many just stick to the away games now. The Shed boys will get some banter going with your lot and there will be quite a few songs from the Matthew Harding (more from the lower stand) but I fully expect you to outsing us.

Well played and well done for the result today, a draw was no less than either club deserved. Hopefully at the end of the season both of our clubs will look back at this match as a well earned point which was pivotal in achieving our main objective for the season.

Breath of fresh air. Living as I do now in Melbourne, it's not unusual for opposition fans to socialise before or after a match. In most sports here the fans are not even separated, and 99.99% of the time the worst you get is banter and a good laugh.
Good work to Bucks Blue, sounds like he did CFC proud.

You boys got behind your team when you were 1-0 and helped get your side a point.

What you guys do well is support your own team rather than sing songs about the opposition and that helps your team more than singing songs about JT or Ash.

    Other fans should take note

    Cheers mate <ok>

As said on the Swansea board it was great to have a few pints before the game. It's something that rarely happens with us Chelsea fans when we are the visitors! You're all great lads and very passionate supporters like everyone else in the liberty Stadium yesterday. I thought our fans did alright but I've definitely been in louder but it's nice to know we are some of the best fans to visit your ground. Tell us when you're coming to the Bridge and we'll sort it out for sure. All the best for the rest of the season and maybe see you again if we get you in the cup!

Its been years since I was able to go to watch a game so was good to hear that. Only today my son and I were discussing how the singing, chanting etc can hardly be heard on tv. There's no atmosphere quite like it. (or how it was back in the day)

Cheers Swansea lads. Gutted I couldn't go to this, had made plans for a mates bday but then he cancelled so I could have gone in the end.

I can't speak highly enough of Swansea as a club, a total breath of fresh air to the PL. I must admit I thought you guys would be in serious trouble when Rodgers left but Laudrup seems to have you playing much more direct and with more cutting edge.

In the end Saturday was a game where two good footballing walked away with a deserved point each so football was the winner. <ok>

Best of luck with your season and I hope to get down to the Liberty next year
