Ok, I don't want to get into the whole 'who we are competing with or who we aren't competing with' talk:

The simple fact is that spurs lost, arsenal lost, Everton drew, city drew, west ham drew, fulham drew, Chelsea drew.

Now for the last 2/3 years we have seen stuff like this only for us to go and **** up any chance of progress on the Sunday/Monday.

So please lads!! Let's add 'Newcastle lost' to the above list and do the business!!!

I was thinking the same thing. 4th is absolutely wide open this year.... arsenal are terrible right now, spurs are not reacting to AVB very well and if its EVERTON (<luagh>) we are up agasint with 4 consecutive draws.... well i think it has been a great weekend of results if we can pull off a big win.

our issues isn't goals par se, look as suarez's record... its conceeding far too many so we simply have to fix that and if we do..... anyhtings possible this year

Well to be honest, looking at the teams ahead of us, conceeding goals is a big trend. The difference is that they can outscore their opponents whilst we cannot. I still maintain the lack of goals is our big issue. Suarez aside, the rest of the team is struggling and Rodger's plan of a front 6 contributing to the goals isn't working so far.

Arsenal fan here. If Arsenal were in EVerton's places with their form, would you be saying 4th spot is wide open?

Just because it's Everton there, doesn't mean it's wide open. Everton could very well turn out to have a firm footing up there.

Why is us and City drawing good for Liverpool?

Confidence boost. Why else do women like to read about 'flawless' celebrity's fat bits? It makes them feel better about themselves. <ok>

The 4th place is wide open this season, none of the contenders including ourselves are outstanding. Arsenal are bottlers and chokers, Spurs got ahead of themselves and need to be cut off at the ankles and AVB is useless, Newcastle blow hot and cold, and Everton..are Everton.
