New manager at Palace. Seemed to be linked with everyone recently. When Blackpool beat us in the final, it was awash with their passionate fans and colour. Club has new stand and money a'plenty. Why did he want away, no ambition now the finances are in place...safety minded after past struggles. I can 't imagine Palace with respect being much different from Pool!
As I recall half of those 'passionate fans' didn't make it back after half time until 10 mnutes ahd elapsed. They must have been all still buying burgers for their kids on their day out.
HE's hoing to need a new tie, gloves and wooly hat. THe orange ones can go in the bin. Don't see this as a step up for him.
It seems a strange move, maybe things had got stale at pool and he jumped before he was pushed? I'm sure Palace still must have promised him some funds to get him to commit to such a sidewards/slightly downwards move.
Dunno how you can call it a sideways or downwards move when palace are in third and playing very welll while Blackpool are in 16th and aparently in freefall. What puzzles me is why the Palace board chase a manager who is conspicuously failing at another club?
