    OK Todays info as follows...all should be placed at least so Tote Place is best advised though no bets from me .....

    5.40 Kempton 7 Norfolk Sky

    2.50 Lingfield 11 Sentaril

    3.50 Lingfield 13 Semeen

    Good Luck if you play any of them !
    ==================================
    Staking as advised by Arkle is Tote Place

    1/11/12 (£100 stakes)

    Sentaril return 1.40

    Seemen loss 1.00

    Norfolk Sky return 1.10

    Total loss/profit = -0.50 (or -£50)

    Red would say it pays as he would have had returns on his selections had he backed them Tote Place instead of win when they lost !

    I won't be putting up a thread relating to your selections as everyone can see how many you pick each day already !

    WLYT - Give it a rest mate, I'm only on here to view some of the great write ups and tips. I know SA can properly look after himself but this isn't banter as Ron is pointing out, it's proper looking out for the man which is both stalkerishly like and worrying.

    Now can you just carry on giving your insightful predictions please?

    Does that mean you are hell bent on stirring up trouble?

    Hope not. Just enjoy the forum and friendly banter. <ok>

    This is not aimed at one poster on this forum as i know a few people who do it but I don't really get why people go tote place on short priced favourites. It sounds to me like they lack confidence in their selections or are scared of losing their money. If you're that bothered about losing then you probably shouldn't gamble in the first place. However, if you like something at a price and are convinced it can run into a place whiilst not neecssarily winning then it does pay to have a ten pound place bet rarther than a fiver each way.

    DS...each to their own....I have been playing this game for over 40 years now.....and I back horses to win when I am 100 per cent confident and have had a very high success rate on that putting 2 daughters through private education...though the percentage play is always Tote Place if betting on a more regular basis....it really can be a safety net as we are trying to make any profit in this game and not lose money to the bookies !!
