As I am by far the smartest guy on these boards, I shall explain it all to the less clever ones here i.e everyone. Somebody said attendances at the piggery have been falling steadily for the last x amount of seasons because of the economic downturn, but in actual fact they rose from season 2010/2011 to 2011/2012, but now suddenly they are down from last season, do the honourable gentlemen think this has got to do with Rangers and the Celtic fans saying, "we will win the league this season no bother, lets spend our money on Tina and her mates and crack" or as Lawwell said the country is in a much worse state ....in fact, i can't believe I actually spent typing this out. Ignore all I said, in true not606 fashion! I'll say something though, you lot have ****ing stamina!

ahem - i am the most intelligent poster on here

and actually a lot of what monaco says is true - of course attendances are down - im a season book holder and i must admit to cherry picking games this season because we are going to comfortably win the league

but its not the only factor

and in real terms its likely that there will be more punters through the turnstiles this season than last because we are in the champs league

so in conclusion

its all good :)

id like to see celtic give away more tickets

but not to massage attendance figures - that is just ****ing tragic <laugh>

So you said those low attendances came at the end of Mowbrays reign, only 1 of them did.

<doh> Mowbray was punted in March, those games were in Feb, March and Apr - ie within weeks either side of his departure

What the **** are you blaming the ****e results for low attendances. We all know it’s down to the recession. <whistle>

I'm pointing out that the specific reason that season's attendances are soooo low is due to a relatively few games where a lot of people who paid for their tickets didn't go. Regardless, the attendances would've been lower than the previous season's due to lower ticket sales. And there were more ticket sales that season than the next.

So in 2009/10 you all stayed away because Rangers were winning well and Savco were ****e despite the world recession?
Your attendances continued to rise until this season, were your main competitor is no longer in the same league and as many people predicted it will be a 1 horse race for the title.
That’s just a big fat coincidence is it?

IN 2008-9 Rangers were in the SPL. Rangers won the league. Last season Rangers were in the SPL. Celtic won the league. Last season our ticket sales were lower by >10% than 2008-9, despite our having a successful season and despite the presence of our biggest rivals. So why d'you think there was a difference? <laugh>

Does your club not take a cut when selling tickets for away/neutral grounds?

I believe they cover the costs of distributing the tickets. That is not included in the accounts as ticket sales for games at CP and I repeat why would it? <laugh>

Can you pick an excuse and stick with it. So let’s get this straight. You budget yourself how much you can spend on football. <laugh>

My "excuse" has remained the same. You're too thick to read and understand it apparently. And yes I budget how much I can afford to spend on going to football. And on clothes, holidays, in the pub etc etc. Not sure why that would be a surprise.

And then you have to make the nail biting decision on whether or not to go to CL games or league games. I’m guessing all the others missing Celtic fans also follow this method. Ehh.

Yes, I'd imagine at least some of them do. This season fewer fans have gone to the league games, yet more have gone to the european games. Of course some won't be much arsed about going to many league games at all but are willing to shell out to see world-class teams in the CL.

Let me ask, has this budget always been in place or has it only came into effect this season?

I'm struggling to think why you find it odd that people might decide to go to football on the basis of whether they can afford it or not. <laugh>

So when Savco are pumped out of Europe attendance figures at Parkheid will start to boom again?

No doubt that depends on whether Sevco are bumped up the divisions <ok>

So I take it you realise you were wrong and that i never said I was leaving this thread?

I thought that would be the case <ok>

you said you weren't going to waste your time something something bla bla bla [insert boring ****e]

can't remember your exact comment, don't care either.

you're probably one of the saddest most boring ****s ever to walk the earth old man. I pity people who actually have to work beside you.

That's just not true is it weesacks? Iif you don't care you would not have mentioned it, you don't recall what I said but you accused me of saying something I did'nt anyway, you must have the mental capacity of a goldfish.

And how do you get an opinion of someone's personality when you don't even know them?

Regarding "boring", do you know what is "boring"? You speiling the same tired childish ****e on a regular basis. Like:-

"<insert name of relevant Hun> destroying <insert name of relevan Tim> as per the scriptoid"

"beel"

"russ"

Do you know how ****ing pathetic you sound wee man?

Get a grip of yourself <ok>

All that patter is used for one purpose - to annoy you & your fellow boring tims.

I've always found that repeated catchphrases only work to irritate for a short time. After a while it's a cliche that people barely notice or use ironically. "Beel" passed that phase months ago. "As per the scriptoid" shortly after.

Tired patter - it's all bit like your dad describing something as "cool". <cringe>
