remember this day?

gas away at reading and was 0-0 at half time. rovers then shooting towards the away end and we witness 6 away goals, 4 from cureton and 2 from roberts. ended up winning 0-6. great game.

13 years later, reading has been up in the prem and back down again and back up again while we havent even got up to the championship level but instead dropped to league 2 twice. in this time reading have also signed both the goal scorers cureton and roberts!

how has this happened? readings owners spending big bucks? obviously but at the same time i think their new stadium played a massive part in readings fortunes.

now look at reading tonight. was 4-0 up vs arsenal within the 1st 37 mins of the game! (now 4-4 about to go into extra time)

i really cant wait for our new stadium to come. a big step in this dream becoming a reality is the sainsburys application which we will find out the outcome in just 4 weeks time on wednesday 28th november.
