    As long as we do not get injuries, red cards etc, I will be relaxed about the result. What I would like is for us to come away with the confidence/psychological upper hand to win in the league game at the Liberty!

    I heard 3,000. don't know how accurate that is though cos I also heard that we handed a lot of our allocation back

    If you win tonight it will mean nothing for the league games as we'll have a completely different lineup playing those games so it'll technically be like playing a different team.

    Rodger's went on record in his press conference today to say he asked Huw Jenkins about Joe Allen before we made an official approach and he said when he asked Huw, Jenkins replied that he was happy to do business for Allen despite the clause.

    Rodgers has been on record in press conferences and said alot of things my scouse friend..<laugh>

    Andy carrol wont go out on loan

    written agreement in place between our 2 clubs


    to name but a few..<laugh>

    Anyway it doesnt matter now really, all water under the bridge.There were alot of pissed off Jacks when Joe Allen left but getting in a much better player for £5m in KI and sticking £10m in the buying of Michu,chico,bartley and hernandez has turned out to be a great bit of buisness...for both clubs !

    Huw Jenkins has always said every player has his price, it was just a case of playing the right amount of hardball to make sure Liverpool coughed up the full £15m quid<ok>

    I think both sides are happy enough with how things turned out, of course,if we get relegated this season rodgers better avoid south wales for a while !! <cheers>

    ****ing hell.

    Our starting lineup is even ****ter than I was expecting. Allen, Coates and Shelvs are the only good enough players in the team with Henderson playing right back! WTF?!

    You're playing a much stronger lineup than I was expecting based on what I was reading here.

    Not confident at all now after that and think were gonna get battered. Thought Rodger's would care a little bit more than this considering were defending the cup.

    Disappointed TBH.

    Anyone got any live feeds for this game, and why the hell isn't it on Sky MOTD etc, Bloody useless all these channels and not one plonker is covering our game!...............<doh>
