When I first started supporting Sunderland, I counted myself lucky. We had just signed Keane as a manager and were out of the Championship (nothing to do with gloryhunting, I was hooked by football after the 2006 world cup, and Sunderland is the family team). I could be proud that we had a great guy and a legend as a chairman, we had a great stadium and a brilliant manager. Things were on the up. Our first season in the Preiership was alright, I was happy for a club that had just been promoted. Keane left, Sbragia took charge. We finished the season in the Premiership, I though, OK, time to build for next year. We signed Bruce as manager, we got Bent and a whole host of great players. Brilliant, Top 10 finish! We had the really **** spell, and finished 13th. Oh well, Next season will be better. We got rid of Jones, my favourite player at the time. Cana left. We started this season badly, but quickly we turned it around and had better form than I could ever have wished for. I was ecstatic, over the moon. And where we are now, with one win in 11, WHAT THE **** is happening with the team?! Apart from Bent, it's the same, if not better than when we won all those times! We have such a great setup, BUT WE CAN'T ****ING WIN!!!

WHY, TELL ME WHY QUINN!!! WE NEED TO BEAT FULHAM, WE SMASHED ****ING CHELSEA! TELL THESE OVERPAID ****S TO ****ING SCORE, ****ING DEFEND, AND ****ING WIN!!!

slight frustration there, you alone in the village?

I agree with your sentiments but I don't know what the answer isThe squad must practice shooting;if they can score in practice sessions it is not difficult to take that ability on to the big stage. Why isn't this happening???don't they have any confidence when they are in a match situation.
If they lose confidence questions need to be asked:
Are they in the right job?
Should we be employing sports psychologists?
Is the manager up to the job?

I can't understand how a good side pre Christmas becomes a very poor side in 2011.
Any thoughts Lads

lets say we were talking about Tesco's or Argos ............. results drop dramatically............ where do you start............. normally first stop would be with the way things are being managed
