Damn I should have known: when a WUM says they're out of here it really means they're taking time to think of the next sentence. You were a twat, you were out twatted and now you're buttsore. Everyone's had people die on them, its not an excuse to be a twat. The "mum" I was slapping was a fictional metaphorical mum quite obviously since I didn't actually know yours. You, sad prick that you are: made a pathetic attempt to embarrass a stranger on the Internet into silence by bringing in personal details about your life. THAT'S how low scum can go. Using their own mothers death to point score. Or did I know her after all? Post a picture of yourself & I'll tell you whether I met her one drunken night.
I highly doubt this is true. But the comments about age and money aren't all that to be honest. He might cost a bit in wages - but not on a transfer fee and he would only be here for a year or two - hardly a drain on resources. The benefit of us finishing higher in the league far excells that.
Whilst I agree with your sentiments to a certain extent B4F I think the summer showed FSG won't sanction it. And if they did it will lead to all sorts of questions about the farcical goings on thru the summer window. Basically if we did sign him it shows we have no coherant plan whatsoever.
Plus his goals could put us in the top 4, and he will sell shirts. We'd get a lot of love from the Ivory Coast.
Think of how positive David Beckham was for AC Milan on loan. Drogba could have the same effect. If he only joins on loan, we may not have to pay his wages.
This! ^ FSG policy is about over 27s in permanent deals as far as I can see. Loans are a loophole I think. I'd have diving Drogba on loan, for sure.
Of course we do have to realise that Drogba will play on the wing to accomodate Suarez in the middle.
Jebus why don't we paint the club up like some garishly makeup plastered hooker to attract any old dirty man looking to lob one in I think this ones interested please log in to view this image No self respect or at least traded off for a few goals. No Thx. Identify a target and pull out all the stops to get him. Are FSG serious or not FFS
I suspect it's the Sunday Mirror which is desperate. But it's a shocking state of affairs that we have these Hodgsonesque rumours of oldies being relied upon to bail us out of the hole FSG and Rodgers have dug for us. More sufficient unto the day - my prediction that Reina will be the first to bail out of the Rodgers regime is looking more concrete by the day.
