Oh yeah.. I just put Best in there because I think even a half-fit Leon would do Best than a fully fit lethargic and lazy Ameobi.. he reminds me of me when I tried to be a semi-pro footballer. Had ability and potential but was so darn lazy and lethargic it was incredible. My work-rate was shocking.. and I remember a moment when my coach said ''If you actually put in the effort and work-rate you'll be a profesional footballer'' and he also said ''If you want to get somewhere in life you have to work hard''.

Personally I think Ferguson needs more game time and seeing liverpool are playing with an 18 year old at right back at the moment it could be a good battle of the youngsters down that side. And yes I know, Ameobi has been awful, but Lovenkrands can't play as a lone striker, Ranger is only good coming off the bench and I don't think Kuqi would do any better than Shola. Although I would bring on Kuqi at half time if Ameobi is doing nowt. Also a five man midfield suits Nolan as he can get forward more and hopefully get on the end of any headers Ameobi wins.

 

Guthrie is out and Nolan doubtful.

Yeah but he has asked Pardew not to play him again this season because he wants Krul to have a chance as Harps said Pards knows what he can do and iot would be fairer to see what Krul can do know we are safe.

I dont get why everyone hates Raylor, I think he did suprisingly well when he got the call? :/

 

I think the team picks itself at the minute but I'd like to see Kuqi and Lover play a good 30 mins or so together.

 

Aye would like to give Kuqi a bit more time than 2 minutes or so in injury time. Give him a good 20 minutes I say if nothing else is working!

 

I actually reckon Kuqi would do well against the Liverpool defence. There's only really Skrtel that could challenge him IMO.

 

I do think Suarez will do over Williamson or Taylor though :/

I think collo will have the job of keeping an eye on Suarez as he is more fast and agile and Willo will be marking Caroll (or maybe Kuyt if Caroll is injured) as he is better in the air.

 

Completely forgot about poor Raylor, this ^ would be my choice for tomorrow.

And I think Suarez is the type of player Colo can handle, thought Suarez wasnt in particularly good form anyway?

 

Would love to see Nolan playing off Lover but doubt Pards would risk it. For once though, Liverfool's defence seems pretty error prone. Especially Kyrgiakos, I reckon Shola is just the handful to win us a penalty!

 

I suppose I'll have to resign myself to the fact Shola is playing every game we have left this season. I hope to god he has an "on day" tomorrow as he would give Kyrgiakos problems if on one of his little clusters of good form.
