....are you really that moronic? You DIDN'T bag those goals therefore it doesn't matter and makes you sound like a bitter man. Now run along HIAG
Lawro has probably based his analysis on the fact that this is a high stakes game and that both sides being conscious of their defensive frailties might adopt a more cautious approach than usual with Utd having the best in-form striker having a slight advantage.
Any of you lot feel nervous like i do, with the way both our attacks and defencies are playing this could end up 4-0 to one team or the other, i would settle for 2-2.
Not unusual for high stakes games like this to become tight cagey affairs - both sides being mindful of their defensive frailties might adopt a more cautious approach with Utd's stronger attack giving them the edge....that is what I believe Lawro has based his analysis on.
I think you are being a tad humourless, here, Drogs. If I may venture to suggest. Unclench a little, and enjoy life a bit more. That is my advice to you.
It's a good thing that Lawro doesn't depend on his predictions for his salary, he'd be down the dole queue every week. Am I the only one who remembers the amazing job Luiz and Cahill did against Bayern ????? As always with Utd, it will be the ref who decides the winner. What odds we don't finish with 11 men ????
Worrying thing is, Lawro has predicted 6/7 of our results correctly (He went for an Arsenal win and he didn't do a prediction for our game v Reading). So as much as I agree with most of your comments about his logic, it seems as though he hs a knack of getting our results correct this season!
If any of us did a prediction thread for the bbc we would all be criticised as much as lawro is for his. I don't like to criticise them as they are just guesses. Any man who bets frequently will know how hard it is to consistently get it right.
Like most pundits Lawro blows off United. It's scary how blind so called experts are. This is a out the 3rd or 4th loss he's predicted for us this season so far so I can't say I'm worried. I'll stick my neck out and say the chances of United keeping a clean sheet at the Bridge tomorrow are slim to none. A 1-2 is more likely. I can't remember the last time United kept a clean sheet v us in the league. Must be the 0-3 loss where we didn't turn up
One of the reasons I hate Lawro more than Hansen (and any other pundit) is because unlike the latter there is no basis or foundation to any of his arguments. At the end of the day the man is entitled to his opinion but as I said earlier for a side that has scored in every single game this season (bar one) and every home game it seems odd he expects us not to score against a side that has kept one clean sheet away from home all season and conceded in 9 games out of 12 so far this season missing their two best defenders. Losing Kagawa is also a massive blow. I don't see what players they have that could fill that void
You're right about Kagawa. Iv'e seen him play for Japan 3 times and he is the business. Wish we had got him as well as Hazard, no one would touch us then.
Same. If we had Kagawa there would be no need for Torres IMO. We could just play Oscar as a false number 9 with Kagawa, Hazard and Mata feeding him. I think Kagawa is wasted in that United team
