Nor is the second one. Trying to avoid getting injured, not his fault Guzan pulled out at the last minute. IMO no attempt to get a free kick, given he was in a better position staying on his feet. Unfortunately he won't get the benefit of the doubt now. Can't compare him to Suarez who is pathelogical in his attempts to cheat the ref.
Only a very small minority do; be fair. There was a rather sad, yet hilarious moment yesterday in which Suarez nutmegged a player, was body checked and immediately dropped and rolled in the opposite direction.
At one point(might've been the same one) the commentator said of Suarez "if there's one negative of his play it's that he goes down to easy", or something along those lines. One?!
Oh, it's a bad lunge, definitely. Doesn't actually get anywhere near making contact with Suarez, though!
Roy Rodgers wants help from Referees http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20102766 and blames decisions going against his team for them being so average. You couldnt make this nonsense up, it is bordering on being in the Ferguson and Wengeresque league of excuses. Trying to influence Referees, constant moaning and unjust complaining..... is the pressure finally getting to Roy?
True, we were very open first half - inexperience was clear. Everton made things very fast and physical, we couldn't get out. That call at the end though... ridiculous.
Well, where do I start? First off, 'Pool did a lot better than I thought they would, as I had them down for a loss, with this one. A spirited display by them, but, in the end, they were just about good enough for a draw. If they can maintain that kind of performance, I think they will avoid relegation, this season, and might even be able to push on to a top-of-mid-table finish, say 10th. Suarez only dived a couple of times, so I suppose he is to be congratulated for that. Secondly - and as much as it galls me to have to admit it - Lawro called this one right, predicting a draw (although he did, of course, guess the score incorrectly). Lawro has been a lot more realistic about 'Pool's chances, these days, more often predicting the loss or the draw, rather than slavishly predicting a win (as a result of his natural bias).
And Roy Rodgers yet again moans the house down in his interview, claiming Suarez`s goal should have been allowed..... even though every man and his dog could see an obvious foul on the Everton defender as the Liverpool player used two hands (one on each shoulder) to propel himself upwards to win the header. The referee got that decision 100% correct and Roy Rodgers has no cause for complaint. The delusion continues and Roy is sounding more and more like Wenger and Bacon Face with every passing game.
And you're not a partisan fan - right ok. That slip is showing more with every post. Myopia is a bad affliction in one so young so i'd go and see my GP if I was you.
