<peacedove> If you are asked to make a choice would you choose Stewart Downing over Jose Enrique
as a left back?. Downing can score goal what about Enrique.?

Comments.<ok>

Enrique must fight for life to be the starting LB over Left wing Jesus.

Enrique looked alright when he last came on at left wing, sharper than he did at the tail end of last season at least. If he can get half as good as he was when we first got him, he starts ahead of Downing.

The question is whether either of them is good enough to take Wisdom's spot because, on form, he deserves to keep that spot. Johnson is also on top form and should retain LB.

Johnson is a big contender for player of the season already.

Johnson for me if not then Robinson ..never seen him let us down and is very quick.

Johnson is our best left back but Enrique is also a good player who is having a bad spell he certainly shouldn't be getting the stick he has from some.

JKqiel91 you mention that Enrique wont put risky 6 yarders across the box. He will . Because
that is how Rogers wants the game played. Possession is king. As time goes on you wont see defenders pumping it into touch. Man City do thatand look what happens to them in Europe. Rogers insists the team keep the ball wherever the are on the ball pitch. Make a mistake and its embarrasing - this is where the fans are important - they have to understand what is going on and not criticize
the team.

Last night was the first time you looked like the Swansea of last season. Be patient!

We don't want to look like "the Swansea of last season" PGF, we finished higher scored more and conceded less than Swansea last season and reached 2 cup finals(in our worst league season for 46 years).<whistle>

The plaudits so far are for his giving our youngsters a chance to shine, there's a long way to go yet but i hope he gets a striker in the January window.

It's as much a case of him learning the Liverpool way as it is vice-versa.<ok>

Im not agreeing or disagreeing about the style but looking like last seasons Swansea does not mean were exactly the same. Playing in the same with better players (no offence Swansea fans) should see bigger benefits.

Im adamant that hardly moaning would be happening had we bought a striker. Same could have been said for last season too.
