good post but i would give 3 strikes and you get a 3 month ban and should you break the rules after that then 6 month ban........I dont like permanent bans as a rule but if you cant stick to the rules after a 6 month ban then you never will and a permanent ban is warranted.....Can the mods get together and write just 5 basic rules you dont need loads that we jack army can conform too and make it clear so everybody can read and will have no excuses to blame the mods or anyone in the future......Its not hard to do and should stop all this nonsense that is driving posters away including myself if nothing is done.........

Phil do you reckon that Breezy is back then ?

Can't believe the way some people act in here and I can't argue with anything you say. Don't see why anyone just doesn't take a break and recharge the batteries for a bit, it works a treat.

I do think having these rules about the length of ban are a bit pointless, at the end of the day,if somebody wants to disrupt the board they will find a way, if you ban them they can rejoin under a new name and IP address or via mobile/smart phone.

There is nothing wrong with the odd spat and lovers tiff, it sometimes happens but we should reach apoint where somebody takes the moral high ground and decides to move on .

Dragon- I must say that the :) on here gets totally mis read sometimes, both you and terrorwit normally get along great, as you remember yourself we both used to be at loggerheads with each other on the old 606 but we both enjoyed it for what it was which was a bit of jesting and nothing personal.

As far as im concerned there isnt enough laughter in the world, and we should also remember that there are very few jacks on here that would not get along if they were locked in a room together..the reason being is that we all love our team and have common ground.

In debate there are and should be strong views, nothing wrong with that its what makes this place intresting, ive had dis agreements with many on here but not for one minute do i give it a thought after ive left my computer as stuff on here isnt really relevent in the grand scheme of things! when i return i understand that while there is sometimes a bitter taste left over from a previous encounter i know nothing of the person,what kind of day they have had or what is going on in their personal lives, this is worth remembering i think, especially as one of own(mabon) is currently not in the best of health.

I guess im just saying that overall this is a great board and the amount of recent argument tells me that many actually care about the forum even though it might not directly appear that way, this aint a bad thing folks .

Lets keep debate spicy lets enjoy some of the great threads, lets fallout AND make up then move on!! we dont know each other personally but im sure if we bumped into each other in the pub we would all get along great as we are all mad ****ing Swans fans <cheers>
