Another shocker mate. This thread was so predictable after that result. I don't understand Bruces thinking. We need goals so what does he do? Takes off Muntari and brings on Ferdinand???? Where is the sense in that when we had a striker sat on the ****ing bench twiddling his thumbs!!!

Its with a heavy heart but I have to agree. This is not moving forward, the injuries excuse and it is an excuse has worn thin. Every team has injuries look at Everton and the injuries they have had season after season and even with a thin squad Moyes manages to secure them as a solid premiership outfit. We still have enough quality in the side to deal with Fulham so whats going wrong? I heard on talk sport that whilst it was 0-0 it seemed like a mid table end of season game and I thought "am I hearing right" after the run of results this team has roled out to its fans you'd think they'd be going all out to redeem themselves. Has Bruce lost the fans?? I think he has and it's time to move on.

Well I have always thought Bruce was a sh*t manager. Even before you lot got him I thought he was sh*t.

As a toon fan I was jealous of the money Nile gave him but I knew he'd f*ck it up. He has made good signings like Gyan & Sssegsausageboy but he's too tactically inept to workout how to play them. He also seems to have lost the dressing room.

However, I think you have suffered by selling your best striker half way through the season.. we can relate with that sh*t!

In my opinion you just need a new CB, a decent winger and a new ST to play along Gyan and Wellbeck when you renew his loan... oh yeah, and a new gaffer!

It could be worse, you could be Boro!

Personally I think Sunderland need two managers. Steve Bruce can run things until Christmas and then somebody can take over until the end of the season. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't a similar thing happen last season? i.e good start followed by a long stretch of poor results.

I would prefer to put this into layman terms.

Get rid of this f*cking joke now. The useless c*nt hasnt got a scooby. ned @ CF, ffs. There was no passion whatsoever. I appreciate this wouldnt be his 1st choice but there was no motivation or f*ck all.
If any of you's want to argue with this post, name the time and the place and i will effin knock you all out more than 1 at a time if necessary. Preferably tomorrow morning when I have sobered up.

P.S. I am p*st and may regret this rant in the morning but somehow I doubt it.

Well, there's nothing in his record as a manger to contradict you!

"tactically inept" sums him up nicely! There's nothing tactical about him. Nothing.

But at least you still had options...and goals in you...and fight...and team spirit... and strikers!

    Spot on!

    :emoticon-0107-sweat shudder!

Great post I Bleed Black And White, you've renewed my faith in the possibility of intelligent, knowledgable toon fans! <ok>

But Malsfag I thought it was the dream team. Told you Quinny couldnt win you points by being the nice guy and the 'best' chairman around, having a great owner also wins you nowt. However a ****e manager with inept players was never gonna sustain your start to the season, as the redundant Euro bus proves once again. Fight--- u couldnt knock a **** out ya soft twat

So lets just ignore the good run of form prior to the Bent sale and injuries?

    Are your memories that short?

I know the buck stops with Bruce in theory, but in this instance the cause of these injuries need investigating to see if there is an underlying cause - however these players are not machines - they all suffer injuries and lose form from time to time - but in the past managers rarely got blamed for either - these days it is a blame culture fostered by a desire for success............and success now.

Bruce's net spend is not as much as you think - however this has left the squad thin, but means Short will back him in the close season imo.

Riveros and Angileri have been poor..............Sbragia going has anything to do with this?

Your a bunch of comedians wanting Bruce out and your giving the scum plenty of laughs, however I love it when they set themselves up for a fall.

We were 6th, but we were 6th because of Everton and Villas woes.

Liverpool were also below us at the time.

You clearly remain a Bruce fan, and that's your choice, and fine with me, but take the ****ing blinkers off mate.

It's the inability to change it tactically, above all else, that lands us in this ****, that's a fact.

Bruce is the cause of injuries. Injuries were high at the other clubs he's managed. It's something HE is doing. I think it's his training methods. He's overdoing it.

Yeah he did well at the first half of the season. Most managers can do that. However, when the going got tough and confidence dived (it happens to every team at some point) he couldn't pull the players out of it.

So yeah, get rid. He should have done far better with the players and cash at his disposal.

I wouldn't say Bruce Out yet, we might still finish the season well. But I definitely wouldn't be sad to see him leave, as long as we don't have a complete team rebuild again. This is different to when Keane left, we have a good squad, they just don't want to play as a team. We need to strengthen, but there would be no point in selling Gyan and co.
