I have to say what ever happened (or didn't happen) post match last night has still got everyone confused, and as you say we can't even sack our manager properly... and he can't resign properly, we really do resemble an absolute shambles. The fact that our owner is sitting on a beach in Barbados doesn't make it any more palatable and I'm only hoping that the decision for Paul Jewell to go his own way is being delayed so they can speak face to face.

It does beg the question however of where is Clegg and what does he do in situations like this? Paul Jewell was in his office watching a DVD so where was Clegg when Hutchings had to face the media?

this is the bizarre thing, evans is on holiday, does he not have a telephone? can't clegg do the dirty work on his behalf.
it's leaving you guys hanging even longer. i saw his (PJ) post match interview after hull, the man looked completely shot, a dead man walking.

okay, cards on the table....this is where I am with their current plight.

Did I laugh this morning on discovering the result from last night? Yes I did, although the initial reaction was "bloody hell" as I thought they would beat Derby Co.

Will I laugh if they lose to Sheff Wed at the weekend? You can bet your life on it I will

Will I be gutted if another manager comes in a revives them? Hell yes, I will be gutted for certain.

Do I want to see them in L1 - Definitely

I feel this way, not out of hatred for the club, team of it's fans but finally the attitude demonstrated by a good number of their fans can now feel as bad as we did when we took the drop. However, I will refrain from taking this piss as it serves little purpose. They finally know they are in trouble and have a poor team (although when we have tried to point that out it fell on deaf ears) and the pain they are feeling (in most cases) is simply Karma in my eyes.

If they do go down they will, in all probability come back up although it might take more than 1 season to stabalize the club again.

this is the huge question canary max, we have a CEO who job role should be hiring and firing, finalising transfers deals etc, yet he isn't trusted to do either? what is the point of him being at the club? until he goes we are ****ed!

I actually think the office cleaner has more decision making clout than Clegg. what is the point of him? surely he is employed to be trusted to run the club as he see fit.

Its a total farce, there is not even mention of a press conference today to put the record straight about last nights debarcle after the game!

Supers, the problem I have with this conspiracy theory is thus:

- He stands to make far more money if the club are successful. Therefore why deliberately sabotage things?

- We would be paying interest to a bank, so why not Marcus Evans?

- An owner who is not getting a return on his investment is not a sustainable owner

i'm not saying he is sabotaging things – of course he'd make more money if things went well – what i'm saying is that many ipswich fans think he HAS to be successful to get his money back.

that isn't true <ok>
