Robbie, I can't see where your going with this thread. You just seem to be making the same points over and over but to different people. As I said in a earlier post you won't gain anything by making comments on here, it's just other football supporters you're talking to!
If you are sincerly concerned, write or email, FIFA, UEFA or Leeds Utd, make your voice heard in the right places!!

Well, I wasn't going to post again on the subject, until the expatriate Leeds fan accused me of hypocrisy, which I object to.

Regarding what action one can take, I agree with Dave Jones that fans need to take action themselves and make clear to other fans that it isn't acceptable. We keep being told it is a minority; if that is so, the majority should stand up against it. Regarding the forum, I think here too we need to agree that racism is not the only sickening form of abuse and cut out the other forms as well. <ok>

Lots of bluster, no answer to my question.

I ask again: if a colleague sent you a text with a Jimmy Savile or Dave Jones joke, would your reaction be exactly the same as it was to Leeds fans who did the same thing?

I'll apologize for accusing you of hypocrisy when you show you're not a hypocrite.

And yes, I actually work on Mount Washington monitoring gecko levels.

I told you I was speaking straight, why fob my reply off as "bluster"? To reply to your specific question: "Yes", my reaction would be exactly the same. You seem to think I am criticising Leeds fans as such, I am not; I would say the same about fans of any club who chanted that. It just happened that it was at the Wednesday v Leeds match the other night, and Leeds fans who were chanting. If you look at my occasional posts on the Leeds board, you will see that I have no antipathy to your club or your fans as such. Your only reason for accusing me of hypocrisy is that there's a lot of it on the internet. I have just as much reason for accusing you of hypocrisy in return. But since I don't know anything about you, I do not do so.

Been to the Hoh Rain Forest, gorged on Chuker cherries in Prosser, and sampled the wineries around Walla Walla. Fantastic country.
