We did this before didn't we (before the pirate was born by the looks of it!)?

58 - for the second year running. Had it in mind that I was 59 last birthday (September) but a recount showed me I'd been a year over. Fabulous feeling being a year younger for a change!

First visit to LR February 1967 (age 13). Rangers top of Division 3 and well on their way to League Cup glory. It's been up, up, down, up, down, up, down, down, up ever since!!

To Pirata and all you younger guys: there ain't as much difference in our ages as you'd think... decades slip by like soap in the bath!

Not much tying me back to west London these days other than the hoops. Got an aunt still living in Ruislip manor but crossing the A40 to get to primary school in northolt seems like a distant memory these days

Maybe I should get a capri?

Nor too young! Fact is, very much for the reasons given by Uber a page or two back, boards like these are a great leveller. Age isn't a factor when it comes to supporting your club. It's always 'in the moment', season by season and the only time that matters is NOW!!

Did you live in Kilburn when you were a kid then? I did between 63 and 73. Mostly Aldershot Road off Willesden Lane if you know it.

I suppose this makes me the youngest mentioned, 20. Been involved in senior football for what feels like 20 years mind.

As of 2 days ago, 33.

Still act more like I'm 18, and sadly feel more like I'm 80 far too often!

No, I never lived in London - I'm 3rd generation R's, my dad as a boy lived on Bradiston Rd, then later Fernhead Rd and I believe my grandparents later lived on Evelyn Ave, which I believe is in Kilburn - I recall in my childhood dad mentioning the name Kilburn a lot. Family birth, baptism, marriage & death records have many Paddington & Marylebone references. I grew up in Hampshire and my dad got me hooked in 1967 when he brought me down to Bournemouth to watch Rodney Marsh play in the 3rd division promotion year.

Even if we are all youngsters here I don't see a reason why you shouldn't post.
