Think Colin's comments say it all..i know he was playing the signing down all last week, but that seems to be just his style generally..we've a small squad..it's not a big signing..they're the favourites..etc. All very astute IMO, never gives opposition players/management something to latch onto. He clearly thinks Hall has great talent, though, and elsewhere described him as a "proper winger"- well that sounds damned good to me. Don't care what he's done before, didn't care with Diouf either- he behaves himself here and plays well for us and i'll sing his name. When it comes to Leeds United i'm happily myopic.

MOT.

Hey Jake,

In Colin we trust!!!

Obviously he has sent Poleon and Thompson out to get first team experience. This has allowed him to bring Hall in <ok>

You don't think they'll have the potential? Thompson had loadsa potential when we signed him from Everton 2 years ago!!!

I think NW has taken a look and not seen enough. Poleon has seemed a headless chicken when I have seen him. Rogers must have **** on the gaffers desk (never got a chance). Would have rather kept Garbut than in effect trade for Thompson. But I dont get paid to decide.

I would have taken Boywer back as I think its midfield bite we need more than anything else.

He went years ago didnt he? and for a pricey fee so not trading him for thompson

Poleon's almost definitely coming back into the frame, Colin's been comparing him to Victor Moses, just needs some time as a regular starter. Look at how well a spell in the lower leagues did for Beckford and Somma.

Hall is only a young lad, Colin will break him down (personality wise) and build him back up with a better attitude. Lets face it, that's why he let him go off from Palace. Hopefully he's matured. seen the error of his ways.

If he ****s up, he'll be off, but i reckon the kid knows it and will sort his life out. Good potential!

He's not that young, he's 24 which is almost the prime for wingers of his type (that is if I understand "his type" correctly)

Regarding our outgoing loanees. I don't think Rogers will ever get the chance which Im dissapointed about in truth. When I saw him for those 12 minutes he looked pretty tricky but was missing a little something, had the potential I thought. I thought Thompson had the potential but I think it was this season that he had to make the step-up and he hasn't, last season he looked a little naive but now I can't see him coming back into the frame. Think Poleon has a bright future though, looks very good, quite pacey, not the best finisher for a striker though so may turn into more of an Ince style winger

Hall has a few months to settle in and prove himself to get a permanent move to a massive club. He was a great prospect at Palace, and Warnock feels he has matured now and can develop into a quality player. Let's hope he does, just as Max did when coming from Leicester as a no hoper.
